FIRING BACK: Elon Musk releases results of drug test, and tosses out challenge to media

Billionaire and former DOGE leader Elon Musk has now released the results of a drug test, in response to claims by the liberal media that he is on drugs.

The New York Times dropped a bombshell hit piece on Musk on May 30, just hours ahead of his last appearance with President Trump in the Oval Office, as he was departing from his role with the Department of Government Efficiency.

In their report, the Times claimed that Musk was using drugs extensively during the time he was traveling with and campaigning for Trump last year.

The Times also suggested Musk may have been on drugs while serving in the Trump administration, writing, “It is unclear whether Mr. Musk, 53, was taking drugs when he became a fixture at the White House this year and was handed the power to slash the federal bureaucracy. But he has exhibited erratic behavior, insulting cabinet members, gesturing like a Nazi and garbling his answers in a staged interview.”

Multiple other media outlets then picked up the Times report and ran with it.

Musk decided to put the wild rumors to rest, as he released the results of an extensive drug test around 3:45 a.m. ET Tuesday.

The New York Times PR department responded with a snarky statement: “Elon Musk is continuing to lash out because he doesn’t like our reporting. Nothing that he’s said or presented since our article about his drug use during the presidential campaign was published contradicts what we uncovered. We stand by our journalism.”

X user Jack Steel suggested, “Would love to see NYTimes staff take the same test. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.”

Musk replied, “Great idea. I hereby challenge the NYT and WSJ to take drug tests and publish the results! They won’t, because those hypocrites are guilty as sin.”
