President Donald Trump has responded in a series of fierce statements on Truth Social, after a group of six Democrats posted a brazen video this week, calling on U.S. military members and CIA agents to DEFY orders from their Commander in Chief.
The group, consisting of two senators and four representatives, included Sen. Elissa Slotkin (Mich.), Sen. Mark Kelly (AZ), Rep. Chris DeLuzio (Pa.), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (Pa.), Rep. Maggie Goodlander (NH), and Rep. Jason Crow (Col.).
“You can refuse illegal orders… you must refuse illegal orders… no one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our Constitution,” the Democrats claimed in the shocking video on Tuesday.
Thursday morning, President Trump unleashed on the Democrats.
He first wrote, “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET. President DJT.”
Trump re-posted comments from a number of other conservatives on his Truth Social page. He then added a second statement.
“This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT,” he wrote.
Finally, Trump added, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
