Charlie Kirk’s final book, STOP, in the Name of God, is officially released, months after the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University.

According to the official description, STOP, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life “presents the Sabbath as a radical act of resistance” and offers “a pathway to genuine connection, peace, and presence.” It aims to help readers “unplug, recharge, and reconnect with God, family, and yourself in a way that nurtures your soul.”

His closest friends and family have been avidly promoting the release, such as Donald Trump Jr., who wrote on X: “A month before Charlie Kirk was taken from us, he finished his last book. Get your copy today at http://45books.com.”

TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said the book represents more than a year of Kirk’s dedicated work, writing on X: “He meditated, prayed, and researched the topic with profound curiosity.”

Kolvet called the project “a true labor of love from CK” and described it as Kirk’s “most life-changing work.” He also shared a clip from an interview with Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, discussing the emotional weight of her husband’s posthumous publication.

“He did not just write this book. He lived it,” said Erika Kirk, now CEO of Turning Point USA, in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Explaining her husband’s connection to the work, she added, “When you feel something so deeply and you’ve experienced it and you lived it, you want to be able to tell other people, ‘Look, this will change your life.’”

She described the book’s message as “truth” and noted how attuned those around him became to his spiritual rhythm. “Our whole team knew on days where he didn’t get a full Sabbath and did, because he just was so locked in,” she said. “And he just again, was the most incredible man. But this just took him to a whole new level. And it was in a way where you would look at him and be like, whatever you’re doing, I want to do.”

Erika stressed how personal STOP, in the Name of God is, calling it a direct reflection of her husband’s lived experience and core beliefs. “This is his final message. This is what I’m trying to express to people,” she said. “This is Charlie’s last book, so people can write books all about my husband and what he believed and what he said, and analyze his videos. These are his words, and when you read them, you feel him come to life. It’s powerful.”

Sean Hannity, who read the book cover to cover, agreed, calling it “Very powerful” and saying it deeply resonated with him. For Erika, though, the emotional journey isn’t complete. “I’ll be honest, I can’t read the last few pages. I’m not there yet,” she admitted. “It’s just emotionally because once this book is done it’s done.”
