FROM THE HILL: Far-right activist Laura Loomer on Tuesday said the Republican Party “has a Nazi problem” in the wake of ideological infighting among the right.
Loomer’s post comes amid fierce fighting on the right triggered in part by an appearance by the white nationalist commentator and streamer Nick Fuentes on conservative pundit Tucker Carlson’s online show.
After Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts issued a video defending Carlson’s decision to host Fuentes for an interview, a civil war erupted on the right that has led to a staff shuffling at Heritage and the resignation this week of a board member.
“I’m going to say it. The GOP has a Nazi problem. And the more we pretend like we don’t, the worse it’s going to get. We do. Don’t tell me we don’t,” Loomer wrote in an X post.
“People can get mad at me for saying this, but it’s true. I have no problem with people criticizing Israel. I even said end aid to Israel. But let’s admit this isn’t about Israel,” Loomer added in another post.
