From Fox News: Far-left agitator Nekima Levy Armstrong, who was one of the organizers of the storming of a Minnesota church to protest ICE on Sunday, raked in over $1 million during six years leading a Minneapolis civil rights nonprofit that addresses anti-poverty issues.

Armstrong, whose website identifies her as a civil rights lawyer and “scholar-activist,” helped to organize the storming of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday.

In a Facebook post, she claimed that one of the church’s pastors is a leader at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The demonstration is one of many throughout the Twin Cities in protest of the federal government’s surge of immigration enforcement officials to crack down on widespread fraud taking place in the state.

The report notes that Armstrong has been executive director of the Wayfinder Foundation, a nonprofit, for at least six years, from 2019 through 2024. According to tax filings over that time period, the foundation reported $5,246,387 in revenue.

During that time period, the Wayfinder Foundation disbursed approximately $700,052 in grants, and paid a total of $936,395 as executive director, plus an additional $201,313 in health benefits and other compensation.

Each year, Armstrong raked in a nice, cushy salary, including:

  • 2022 – Armstrong was paid $175,000 in compensation, plus an estimated $33,126 in other compensation, while the organization gave just $161,325 in grants
  • 2023 – Armstrong was paid $170,726, plus $44,300 in other “compensation from the organization and related organizations,” while the nonprofit awarded $133,698 in grants
  • 2024 – Armstrong received a salary of $215,726, plus $40,548 in health benefits, benefit plan contributions and deferred compensation, while only $158,811 in grants were award

Donors to the Wayfinder Foundation include:

  • Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation
  • The Walton Family Foundation (who donated a whopping $2,340,000 from 2018-2024)

Armstrong’s Facebook profile says she is a “Civil Rights Attorney, Social Justice Activist, Children’s Book Author, Woman of Faith, Entrepreneur.”

Ahead of the appalling invasion of the Minneapolis church on Sunday, liberal commentator Don Lemon was on the scene and embedded with the protesters. He touted that Armstrong was heading up the protest, and said she has been “doing this since George Floyd…. where they surprise people, catch them off-guard and hold them to account.”

Lemon then interviewed Armstrong, holding her up to his viewers as an inspiring leader.

Armstrong later bragged about the protest at the church on her Facebook page.

She also also bragged about the protest in media interviews.

Armstrong’s stepson was sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2023:
