FROM NEW YORK POST: Mark Sanchez was spotted behaving erratically, stumbling along through the streets of downtown Indianapolis for at least 20 minutes before his violent encounter with his alleged victim, new video of the former Jets quarterback’s movements from the night shows.
Surveillance video shows the ex-NFL star appearing to wander around drunkenly, retracing his steps, leaning against a wall, and breaking intermittently into bursts of jogging before 12:30 a.m. early on Saturday, when he was allegedly stabbed by 69-year-old grease truck driver Perry Tole following an altercation between the pair, video obtained by TMZ shows.
Tole is seen pulling up into an alleyway in his truck at 12:05 a.m., according to the video.
Seven minutes later, Sanchez is seen walking unsteadily out of the alley, but doesn’t appear to be injured or agitated.
TMZ reported on the contents of the video. According to the site, the footage captures Mark Sanchez from 12:05 AM to 12:30 AM, including his movements before and after the alleged altercation.
Sanchez initially appears to be wandering, then pauses, interacts with a bystander, and finally approaches the alley where the altercation allegedly occurred.
The police report suggests Sanchez approached Tole’s truck, leading to Tole using pepper spray and stabbing Sanchez, who then allegedly assaulted Tole.
