In a battle over the crucial swing state of North Carolina, both Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump held rallies in the state on Saturday, and their planes were seen on the tarmac at the Charlotte airport at the same time.
Trump held a rally in Gastonia, NC at noon on Saturday, and will be returning to hold another rally in Greensboro, NC Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, Harris held a rally in Atlanta, GA earlier on Saturday, then traveled to Charlotte, NC to speak at a campaign event with North Carolina’s Democrat Governor Roy Cooper, along with musicians Jon Bon Jovi and Khalid.
Trump’s longtime aide Dan Scavino had some fun with the scene at the Charlotte airport, as Harris’ plane, Air Force Two, is seen parked on the tarmac behind Trump Force One.
“We meet again today, now in the Great State of North Carolina, in the lead. #VOTE #TRUMP2024,” Scavino wrote.
He shared a photo from the Charlotte tarmac, along with a video from Saturday morning, where the two planes were also on the same tarmac in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Scavino then posted a closer video of the two planes on the tarmac at Charlotte. An entire line of dump trucks are seen parked behind the planes.
“Great rally in NORTH CAROLINA this afternoon—Next stop, VIRGINIA! Wait for it…” Scavino writes.
