Elon Musk, owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, has responded by vowing to file a lawsuit after the House Judiciary Committee exposed shocking details Wednesday morning of a scheme to silence conservative viewpoints through targeting Breitbart News, Daily Wire, Joe Rogan, Twitter, and many others.
The Committee released a damning report Wednesday morning, just hours ahead of a hearing on Capitol Hill. The report exposed the efforts of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media’s (GARM) Steer Team. The report stated, “Through GARM, large corporations, advertising agencies, and industry associations participated in boycotts and other coordinated action to demonetize platforms, podcasts, news outlets, and other content deemed disfavored by GARM and its members. This collusion can have the effect of eliminating a variety of content and viewpoints available to consumers.”
The report revealed that GARM controls nearly every ad agency, thereby holding the power to censor and demonetize anyone they claimed were posting “misinformation.”
“GARM members colluded to cut Twitter’s revenue after Elon Musk’s acquisition,” the House Judiciary Committee reported.

Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro testified during the hearing on Wednesday.
Early Thursday morning, Musk responded to Shapiro’s testimony and the Committee’s bombshell report.
“Having seen the evidence unearthed today by Congress, 𝕏 has no choice but to file suit against the perpetrators and collaborators in the advertising boycott racket. Hopefully, some states will consider criminal prosecution,” Musk wrote.

Investigative journalist Gabe Kaminsky then pointed out that Musk’s own company had just rejoined GARM this month.
