Here is a collection of stories happening across the country, displaying the state of the economy, the heartbeat of American culture, and the craziness of modern-day politics…

1) Outrage after Biden cuts 9/11 terrorists ‘sweetheart’ deal and more top headlines

From Fox News: During a campaign speech Wednesday in Glendale, Arizona, Trump campaign vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance slammed the plea deal taken by three of the terrorists behind the Sept. 11 terror attacks awaiting trial in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

“Just today, I heard that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice cut a deal with al-Qaeda terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to avoid the death penalty. It was reported today,” Vance said. “Now, as someone who enlisted in the Marines to serve after 9/11, that is ridiculous. But it’s not surprising.”

On Wednesday, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced the Convening Authority for Military Commissions, Susan Escallier, entered into pretrial agreements with Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin ‘Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.

2) Former president of PayPal announces party switch, endorses Trump

From Fox Business: Former president of PayPal David Marcus announced he has switched political parties and endorsed Donald Trump via X, the site formerly known as Twitter.

The tech entrepreneur, who recently headed up Messenger at Meta, announced he was “crossing the Rubicon and backing the Republican Party” as well as the campaign of former President Donald Trump.

In his lengthy post, Marcus cites an “eye-opening process of disenchantment, zero-basing lifelong beliefs, and rebuilding” in order to reach his ultimate conclusion.

3) Kamala Harris failed the BAR exam initially

From Collin Rugg via X/Twitter: Donald Trump was correct when he asserted that Kamala Harris failed the bar exam. It won’t be long until the media and Big Tech scrub this from the internet too.

During his appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists convention, Trump claimed that Harris “failed her law exam.” ABC’s Rachel Scott quickly shot back saying “she passed it” without mentioning that Harris *did* fail it the first time. The New York Times also jumped on board in their live reporting, failing to mention that Harris failed her bar exam the first time.

“ABC’s Rachel Scott fact checks Trump as he questions whether Harris passed the bar exam. “She passed it,” Scott says,” the NYT reported, failing to mention that Harris failed the first time. Operation propaganda is in full effect.

4) Progressives sound alarm as Shapiro VP stock rises

From The Hill: Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) is facing growing pushback from progressives even as his stock rises in the Harris veepstakes conversation.

They are sounding the alarm on his past position on school vouchers and say that his stance on the Israel-Hamas war could highlight a divide in the Democratic Party that could impact the November election if Vice President Harris chooses him as her running mate.

Democrats who back Shapiro point to his popularity, record of winning statewide, and the overall electoral importance of Pennsylvania, which has 19 electoral votes and is part of the so-called Blue Wall considered crucial to Democrats.

But that hasn’t stopped progressives from amplifying their criticism of the governor this week.

5) Russia releasing American journalist Evan Gershkovich in prisoner swap after 16 months behind bars

From New York Post: Imprisoned American journalist Evan Gershkovich will be freed from a Russian prison Thursday as part of a prisoner swap with Moscow, according to reports.

Gershkovich will return to the US after spending 16 months in Moscow’s notorious Lefortovo Prison alongside serial killers and other political prisoners, sources told Bloomberg News. A senior Biden administration also told ABC News that Gershkovich will be released alongside former US Marine Paul Whelan in the extraordinary deal.

Speculation had been swirling in recent days that a massive US-Russia prisoner swap — the largest since the Cold War — could be imminent, as a number of prominent inmates held in Russia were moved from their cells to unknown locations, according to the Moscow Times. At the same time, information about some Russian prisoners held in the US vanished from the Federal Bureau of Inmates database, heightening speculation of a prisoner deal.

6) Iran, its proxies will meet to discuss retaliation against Israel, say sources

From Reuters: Top Iranian officials will meet the representatives of Iran’s regional allies from Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen on Thursday to discuss potential retaliation against Israel after the killing of the Hamas leader in Tehran, five sources told Reuters.

The region faces a risk of widened conflict between Israel, Iran and its proxies after Ismail Haniyeh’s assassination in Tehran on Wednesday and the killing of Hezbollah’s senior commander on Tuesday in an Israeli strike on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital Beirut.
Representatives of Iran’s Palestinian allies Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, as well as Yemen’s Tehran-backed Houthi movement, Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Iraqi resistance groups will attend the meeting in Tehran, said the sources, who declined to be named due to the sensitivity of the issue.

7) Disney Hit with More Layoffs: ABC News, ‘Good Morning America,’ and ‘Fauci’ Doc Producer NatGeo

From Breitbart: The bloodshed at the Walt Disney Company isn’t over yet, with CEO Bob Iger wielding the ax across multiple TV properties.

Disney is slashing 140 jobs across its entertainment TV division, with National Geographic and Freeform among those confirmed as reducing headcount, according to multiple reports. NatGeo, which produced the Fauci documentary, is expected to be hardest hit, with the network  losing  60 individuals, or about 13 percent of its staff, according to a Deadline report.

The mood is also grim at ABC News and its Good Morning America show, with layoffs expected in the days ahead, the New York Post reported.

Disney executives have demanded that Good Morning America — which features Bill and Hillary Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos as a co-host — reduce its bottom line by $19 million, up from previous projections of $17 million, before the end of Disney’s fiscal year on September 30, an unnamed source told the newspaper.

8) Transgender boxer forces female opponent to fight, left her in tears (video)

From Libs of TikTok via X/Twitter: Angela Carini was forced to compete in a boxing match against Imane Khelif at the Olympics. She quit 46 seconds in after getting punched in the face.

Imane was declared the winner. Khelif failed gender eligibility tests at the 2023 World Championships.

Poor girl. She trained her whole life for this. The Olympics sanctions violence against women.

9) Rwanda migrant butchers 3 British girls

From End Wokeness via X/Twitter: 3 British girls were butchered to death by Axel Muganwa Rudakubana in the UK.

Media: “Welshman from Cardiff”

10) Donna Kelce shares Facebook user’s post defending Olympics opening ceremony, calling out ‘veiled homophobia’

From Fox News: Donna Kelce, the mother of Super Bowl champion brothers Travis and Jason, reposted a critical take of the controversy around the Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Monday.

The opening ceremony was criticized for making a mockery of “The Last Supper” – one of the most revered moments in Christianity. Those defending the segment have claimed the ceremony was meant to resemble the feast of Dionysus.

“This is what happens when you ban books and limit education,” the Facebook post she shared read. “The Opening Ceremony of the Olympics wasn’t a mock of the Last Supper. If you have any knowledge of the Greek origin of the Olympics and the French’s rich history of theater you would have gotten this. However, because of your veiled homophobia, some of you can’t discern factual information. …
