Dennis Michael Lynch (DML), Founder of TeamDML and DML CBD, launches a new podcast today, Friday, January 3. It is called LIFE AFTER 50, and he says, “It will be the best podcast you listen to each week, guaranteed.” The video above offers a two minute overview of the show.
“The podcast offers a new episode each week, and there are no time limits. The conversations I have with my guests will be wide ranging and can last anywhere from one hour to three hours, or whatever time it takes to get the story and message across,” explained DML. “And as we get further along with the shows, I want to add music, videos, and photos to the podcast to make it more powerful.”
Inspired by the encouragement he received from his life-long friend Peter Geiger, DML said he brainstormed the idea for months before deciding to move forward. “My buddy Pete called me and said he missed the podcasts that I did a few years back when I’d interview people with specific interests and compelling stories. Although Pete enjoys the political podcasts, he said he got more from listening to my interviews, especially the episodes that sounded like conversations. In thinking about what he said, I too missed doing the interviews. But I did not want to get back into it by doing Zoom sessions, so I made a list of 50 people who I know live in and around Florida because I want them to be with me in the studio. Last month, I started the process of asking these people to sit with me face-to-face. Not one person turned me down. People are excited to share their stories of wealth, health, faith, loss, life, death, and whatever. I think this show will be some of the best work I ever do.”
In the coming weeks, DML has scheduled some rather interesting conversations for the show. “I have Bill, he is 81 and a former nuclear submarine captain. He went on to be a CEO of a publicly traded company where he earned buckets of money, but today he isn’t living the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Instead, he spends his life capturing small moments of fun with friends and family that he missed during his busy years. I also have Bethany, she is 52 and recovering from a wicked divorce. She is raising her teenage kids alone and working three jobs to rebuild, but at the same time she is dating a 25-year-old guy. I also have a pastor in his 50s, the guy works around the clock to get people my age to be reengaged with their faith by joining his prayer groups and Bible studies. He makes them super interesting, close knit, and personal. The stories I will capture are so incredibly interesting, and I think listeners will find themselves wanting the conversations to last for hours,” claims DML.
DML says he is going to select two members of TeamDML to join him as guests this year, even if he has to fly them into Florida. “I ask people to join TeamDML by claiming it is like a family. Well, I want to take that to the next level and meet some of these great people face-to-face. I want to talk to them — learn more about them — let the world know more about them too!”
The new program launches today on YouTube and TeamDML.com via the DML NEWS APP. DML’s first guest is his dear friend and health professional, Colin Buck. They talk about new years resolutions, the difficulty and importance of health and wellness as we grow older, tips for ridding of muscle pain, and how to avoid the dangerous chemicals put in our foods.
The program will launch today at noon eastern. DML suggests you subscribe to his new YouTube Channel to never miss a show. Click the photo below to subscribe.
