In the event you missed it, Mary and I hosted a Wine & Talk on Friday for the first time in three weeks.
You may recall, back in late May, Mary gave me a hard time about how long it was taking to recover from my oral surgery. Then a week later, she cracked a tooth. It turns out she needed oral surgery. Thus, why the episode is entitled KARMA.
During our conversation, for some reason Tom Cruise and his 62nd birthday became the focus. Tom’s birthday falls on July 3. This led to conversations about his film BORN ON THE 4TH OF JULY. We then turned our focus to Hollywood films and the most famous actors of all time.
In discussing the “most famous”, Mary, myself, and our son Ryan who produces the show, tossed out many names including, Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, and Robert Di Nero. Then the chat turned to the “BEST ACTOR” of all time.
Again, there were numerous names suggested. Then Mary asked me for a name. I said, “Robin Williams.” He had great range. He was funny, sincere, loving, brave, etc.
Call it coincidence, by on my Twitter feed last night was a video of Williams performing a skit about the American flag to a LIVE audience. I thought it would be a great thing to post here on True.News and the DML NEWS APP.
