Michigan Democrat Congressional candidate Shelby Campbell has sparked backlash after posting a video mocking MAGA over Charlie Kirk’s assassination and Jimmy Kimel’s return to air.
Campbell, who is running in the state’s 13th Congressional District Democrat primary, posted a video on social media discussing Kimmel.
“Hey MAGA, how bad does it hurt that Jimmy Kimmel is back, but you can’t get our person back?” She said before hissing out a gleeful laugh.
When Campbell was asked if she thought people would actually vote for her, Campbell said, “Hi Michiganders, specifically Detrioters…..Do you guys care that Charlie Kirk passed away?”
“Yeah. I didn’t think so. Because my district is primarily Black people, and Charlie Kirk said awful things about Black people.”
She provided no evidence of that claim before adding, “So no, I think my district will like me because I advocate for them as a White person…so….” and flipping off the camera.
