FROM DAILY MAIL: Second Lady Usha Vance was spotted wearing her wedding ring at the traditional turkey pardoning Thanksgiving ceremony at the White House on Tuesday.
It comes after the vice president’s wife was the subject of vicious online trolling after she chose not to wear the wedding band last Wednesday while visiting troops alongside First Lady Melania Trump at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
The speculation about a possible rift between the Second Couple was fueled by the VP admitting that he has pleaded with his wife to convert from Hinduism: he is a Roman Catholic.
Usha’s spokesman disputed the nasty gossip, explaining that Usha “is a mother of three young children who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”
Usha and JD were married in 2014. They have three children – Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, Mirabel, 3.
Online trolls were initially inspired to trash the couple after the Vice President appeared with Erika Kirk during a memorial for her husband, Charlie Kirk. Erika gave JD a tight hug and placed her hand affectionately on his head. Erika has shared that both JD and Usha were good friends whom she leaned on after her husband was assassinated.
