1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear…

“Sanctify” means to make holy, set apart for a special purpose, or consecrate. God doesn’t want the “extra space” in our hearts… He wants, and deserves, the holiest, most special place in our hearts.
And then, the verse says when someone asks the reason for your hope and faith in God, be ready to give an answer. Because when faith is shared… it is not cut in half – it doubles!
