U.S. Border Patrol agent David Maland, 44, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was killed in a shootout during a traffic stop on a Vermont highway on Monday, January 20, the same days as President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The shooting came after authorities had been tracking the activities of Teresa Youngblut, 21, and Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt, 28, a German citizen in the US on a visa, since Jan. 14. (Bauckholt was a biological male, who identified as female.)

During the traffic stop, Youngblut opened fire on Maland, killing him. Bauckholt pulled a gun, and was then shot and killed by other federal agents. Youngblut was wounded in the shootout, and arrested four days later for murdering Maland.

But the story doesn’t end there.  That was only the tip of the iceberg.

Chilling new details have come forth over the past month, revealing that Youngblut and Bauckholt were actually a part of a transgender cult linked to multiple other murders, and authorities have been on a manhunt for other leaders of the cult who were suspects in the killings.

Finally, the suspects were arrested on Sunday.

From the New York Post: The apparent leader of a bizarre vegan transgender cult, the Zizians — which has been linked to six killings across the country, including the murder of a Border Patrol agent — declared his innocence in a Maryland court as a judge ordered him held without bail on Tuesday.

Jack “Ziz” LaSota, 34 — who identifies as a woman and uses she/her pronouns — was arrested with followers Michelle Zajko, 33, and Daniel Blank, 26, in rural Frostburg, Maryland, on Sunday.

The trio appeared in Allegany County Courthouse in Cumberland on Tuesday morning and were all held without bail.

LaSota reportedly whined to the judge that he hadn’t done anything wrong, but Judge Erich Bean ordered him thrown behind bars.  Prosecutors said LaSota “appears to be the leader of an extremist group known as Zizians” that has been connected to multiple murders, and has influenced members of the San Francisco Bay Area group to kill.

Authorities say the eccentric transgender cult group is tied to four murders in Vermont, Pennsylvania and California, including the Border Patrol agent.

The New York Post explained that the group “is composed of extremely bright computer scientists in their 20s and 30s who came together online over their shared anarchist beliefs and evolved to become violent.”  Many came from wealthy families and elite backgrounds, and had prominent careers.

Journalist Andy Ngo of The Post Millennial has been posting details about the wild case over the last few weeks, and appeared on Fox News host Laura Ingraham’s show Tuesday night.

Ngo posted the following video update of the wild tale Tuesday night.

Below are more posts on X by Ngo, as he has been reporting on the creepy case that spans multiple states:

Liberal media has been uninterested in investigating the couple involved in shooting dead a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Coventry, Vermont near the Canadian border on inauguration day. Why? Both in the duo are leftist trans militants. One of the deceased armed militants is a German believed to be in the country on an H-1B visa. The duo is allegedly connected to a trans terror cell.

Federal law enforcement had been surveilling German man Felix “Ophelia” Baukholt and Seattle @UW student Teresa “Milo” Youngblut (xe/xem/xyrs) after staff at a Lyndonville, Vt. motel reported seeing them with black tactical clothing, weapons and protective militia-style equipment.

When the duo was pulled over on Jan. 20, Youngblut allegedly shot dead Officer David Maland in a surprise attack. In the returning fire, Baukholt, who was also armed, was killed. Youngblut was injured and survived.

I spoke with Jessica Taylor @jessi_cata, a Berkeley, Calif. woman who had met Baukholt over the years. She confirmed that Baulkholt is trans.

As “Ophelia,” Felix Baulkholt’s social media and leaked private communications suggest Baulkholt was connected to the violent trans militant cell—or cult—centered around a person who used the alias “Ziz.” Members of the trans group have been involved in violence.

Baukholt was a math genius who graduated from @UWaterloo in Canada before getting a job at Tower Research Capital in New York around 2021.

After the shooting, law enforcement found multiple burner mobiles, laptops and weapons in the duo’s vehicle.

Surviving trans accomplice Teresa “Milo” Youngblut, who is accused of being the one that fired the shots that killed the veteran/U.S. Border Patrol officer, has been charged over the homicide. Youngblut is a biological female who identifies as trans and uses xe/xem/xyrs pronouns.

In shocking new details in a court filing today that affirms my earlier reporting, the trans duo allegedly responsible for the deadly attack on the U.S. Border Patrol officer allegedly used a gun purchased by a member of the “Ziz” militant trans cell. That person is linked to murder investigations of three elderly people in Vallejo, Calif. and Delaware County, Penn.

Trans murder suspect Teresa C. “Milo” Youngblut has a court date on Jan. 30 to determine if she will be held without bail.

Youngblut is accused of being a danger to the public and a flight risk because of her interstate and international ties, and her close relationship with a “Ziz” trans group member being investigated over three murders.

Curtis Lind, 82, of Vallejo, Calif., survived an assassination attempt on his life in 2022 when alleged members of the “Ziz” trans terror group impaled him with a sword and took out his eye as revenge for him seeking to evict them. He managed to shoot one of them dead. Lind was hospitalized for a month and barely survived.

He was set to testify against the members of the group at an attempted murder trial but was brutally assassinated on the street on Jan. 17, 2025. He was stabbed in the neck.

A person of interest in this homicide is close with the Vermont trans duo and allegedly provided them with firearms that they used in their killing of the U.S. Border Patrol @CBP officer, according to court documents.

Curtis Lind was able to shoot dead one of the trans assailants in Vallejo, Calif. in 2022 who was part of the terror group that impalled him with a sword and stabbed him in the face and body, causing him to lose his eye. Trans person and alleged “Ziz” member Amir D. “Emma” Borhanian was killed by Lind.

Lind barely survived, only to be assassinated on Jan. 17, 2025.

The Texas House LGBTQ Caucus @txlgbtqcaucus honored Borhanian, even though he died in the process of trying to murder an elderly victim. A GoFundMe campaign for Borhanian’s family raised tens of thousands of dollars.

The Seattle suspect accused of killing the U.S. Border Patrol officer applied for a marriage license with the suspect (Maximilian Snyder) arrested over the m—rder of Lind. Lind was set to be the key murder and attempted murder trial witness against the alleged members of the “Ziz” trans terror group before he was stabbed in the neck and killed this month.

Supporters or members of the Bay Area-based trans “Ziz” terror group celebrated when 82-year-old Curtis Lind was assassinated successfully in the second attempt on his life on Jan. 17, 2025.

Mr Lind was shortly due to testify in a trial against members of the group who impaled him with a sword and stabbed him repeatedly before he shot in self-defense, killing trans militant Amir “Emma” Borhanian and wounding another. He narrowly survived in the group attack and lost his eye.

Trans activists fraudulently used @gofundme to fundraise tens of thousands for Borhanian’s family, saying he was shot and killed without mentioning that it happened in the process of him trying to murder an elderly man as revenge for the group’s eviction.

Seattle suspect Maximilian Snyder, who identifies as “all” genders on his social media, was just arrested for the murder of Mr Lind. In November, he and Teresa Youngblut, the trans suspect accused of murdering the Border Patrol officer in Vermont, applied to get married in Washington state.

On Jan. 2, 2023, Rita and Richard Zajko were discovered killed at their home in Chester Heights Borough, Delaware County, Penn. For over two years, the killings have been shrouded in mystery, and no one has been charged.

The wealthy elderly couple has a leftist trans child, a biological man, who allegedly had or has links to the “Ziz” trans personality leading the trans terror group. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

In the Jan. 27, 2025 court filings by prosecutors to hold Teresa Youngblut without bail (the trans suspect accused of killing a U.S. Border Patrol officer in Vermont on inauguration day), it is revealed that the weapons she and her German accomplice used belonged to a “person of interest” in the double homicide investigations in Pennsylvania and Vallejo, Calif.

A government photo of murder suspect Maximillian Bentley Snyder, 22, has been released.

Snyder is accused of assassinating 82-year-old Curtis Lind in Vallejo, Calif. on Jan. 17 in order to stop him from testifying in a murder and attempted murder trial against members of the “Ziz” trans terror group.

Snyder is the fiancé of the suspect accused of m—rdering a U.S. Border Patrol officer in Vermont on inauguration day. Both of them are from Seattle and come from wealthy backgrounds. They attended the elite and woke private @LakesideSchool, where Bill Gates graduated.

On his social media, Snyder identified as being of all genders.

@vtdigger has reported out what I had also seen but was working on verifying. A day after the Jan. 20 killing of the U.S. Border Patrol officer allegedly by the trans duo in Vermont, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (@ATFHQ) sent an alert to firearms dealers.

The message read: “ATF is asking for your assistance in identifying any firearms purchases made by Michelle Jacqueline Zajko, a person of interest in the shooting of a Customs and Border Protection Officer on Jan. 20, 2025.”

Michelle J. Zajko (pictured below) is the trans adult child of the elderly couple killed in the double homicide in Delaware County, Pa. in late 2022 or early 2023 (their bodies were found on Jan. 2, 2023). Without naming Zajko, Vermont prosecutors in a court filing allege the guns used in the border officer killing belonged to “a person of interest in the dual-homicide investigation.”

Prosecutors also wrote: “[Felix] Bauckholt flew into the United States in the hours preceding that Pennsylvania homicide.” Bauckholt is the German trans person who died in the shootout in Vermont.

Vtdigger reports that Derby town records in Vermont show Zajko bought undeveloped land there in the town next to Coventry, Vt., where the killing of the border officer happened.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported out harrowing details of Curtis Lind’s assassination on Jan. 17 by a masked person wearing black.

Lind’s neighbors saw him being stabbed in the chest and ran up to him but left him on the ground to take cover for themselves. The suspect returned to the scene and slashed Lind’s throat, killing him and finishing the assassination.

Lind was set to testify in April against two members of the “Ziz” trans terror cult. The suspect arrested over Lind’s killing is Maximilian Snyder, the fiance of the trans suspect accused of killing a border officer in Vermont on inauguration day.

Describing the 2022 assassination attempt by the trans cult, Lind says they launched an ambush on him with bladed weapons after pretending to need help on the property. He was stabbed repeatedly and impaled. He believes they were going to dismember his body and dissolve his body parts. After the attack, Lind and his neighbor found medical equipment and lye in the solar panel-lined box-truck containers the trans cult members were living in.

I can exclusively report that Snyder paid a person on Venmo for a solar panel for “Milo,” the trans name for Vermont homicide suspect Teresa Youngblut. Alleged members of the trans cult may have been trying to build a new commune in rural Vermont.

You might be wondering why this trans terror cell is called “Ziz” and its members “Zizians.”

The cult is based around its alleged leader Jack Amadeus LaSota. LaSota is a man who identifies as a woman and has used the name “Andrea Phelps.” To his devotees radicalized by his writings, he is known as “Ziz.”

Little is known about “Ziz,” but federal prosecutors suggest in their court filings against the Vermont Border Patrol agent murder suspect that he is the lynchpin in multiple homicides across the U.S.

In 2022, “Ziz” faked his own death to try to escape prosecution.

“Ziz” appears to be from Alaska originally, though he has now lived in Vallejo, Calif. on the commune, and in other states. “Ziz” is the son of leftist activist and @uafecampus academic Dan LaSota @DanLaSota.

“Ziz” has written many blog posts rambling about the needed use of violence and radical anarchist tactics (“praxis”) to achieve various ends, like fighting “Nazis.” His cult’s ideology also includes radical veganism and transhumanism, the belief that one can dissociate from one’s body and biological reality through technology.

Law enforcement has released the photo of Michelle Jacqueline “Jamie” Zajko, an armed and dangerous member of the trans terror cult linked to multiple killings.

Zajko, who is trans nonbinary, allegedly supplied the weapons to the trans duo who killed the Border Patrol agent on inauguration day. Zajko is also allegedly a person of interest in the double homicide of Zajko’s parents in Pennsylvania.

If you see Zajko in the Vermont area or beyond, contact the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives ATF Burlington Office at 802-557-6363.

Zajko was a children’s book illustrator at one point and a neurobehavioral researcher at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

There are other members of the “Ziz” trans terror cult who are at large.

One of the members is “Gwen” Danielson, a 30-year-old biological male. I can exclusively report after investigating that “Gwen” was legally named Jasper R. Danielson, and he came from Spokane, Wash., before moving to the Bay Area and joining the cult.

Danielson has been close with Jack “Ziz” LaSota for years, having been arrested together in 2019, along with Amir “Emma” Borhanian and Alexander “Somni” Leatham, two members who later allegedly tried to assassinate elderly man Curtis Lind with a sword.

In 2022, Danielson likely faked his death to avoid accountability in an ongoing criminal case in Sonoma County, Calif. His then-attorney, Jerold Friedman, told the court he got an email that said there was a rumor Danielson committed “s—icide.”

There is a bench warrant for Danielson’s arrest, like there is for “Ziz” LaSota, who faked his death that same year.

In October 2022, the Board of Harbor Commissioners in San Mateo County @sanmateoco, Calif. put forth a motion to remove a sinking boat that Danielson and a man named Daniel Powell own, lived at and abandoned there. Powell’s social media says he is an air traffic controller for the FAA @FAANews.

I have obtained a photograph from the “Ziz” trans terror cult squat in 2022 when its members lived in Vallejo, Calif. on the lot of an elderly man (Curtis Lind) who they later allegedly tried to assassinate in a sword attack.

At large trans cult leader Jack “Andrea” “Ziz” LaSota lived there, as did Jasper “Gwen” Danielson.

The shirtless person circled in the image is believed to be former Google programmer Amir “Emma” Borhanian, who was shot dead by Lind in the brutal attack, or Suri Dao, another trans person involved in the attack who has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Neighbors of the squatting commune have told media the members walked around nude and lived in box trucks. After the 2022 assassination attempt, the property owner found medical equipment in the box trucks. He believes they were prepared to cut him up to dispose of his body.

Witness Lind was assassinated in January 2025 by an alleged member of the group from Seattle who is the fiancé of the Vermont border agent killer suspect. He was hacked to death and had his throat slit.

Before building a box truck autonomous zone commune in Vallejo, Calif. in 2020, the trans terror cell lived on a boat in and around San Mateo County, Calif.

Trans cult leader Jack “Andrea” “Ziz” LaSota ran the operation with member Jasper “Gwen” Danielson. They recruited trans people to join and had a goal of building multiple autonomous trans communes as part of their leftist anarchist “praxis.” I have found previously unseen images of LaSota and Danielson from their time on the boat. The image shows LaSota in the robe outfit that he wore as leader of the cult.

The group abandoned the boat as their membership grew, leaving the public in San Mateo with a bill of nearly $100k to clean the hazardous junk inside and tow the sinking boat. Removing and discarding the boat from the dock will cost about $2m.

Both LaSota and Danielson faked their deaths in the summer of 2022. Police saw them in November 2022 when their comrades attempted to murder their elderly landlord in Vallejo. (He was later assassinated successfully in January 2025.)

The group attempted to start a new autonomous zone in rural Vermont when two of their members allegedly killed a U.S. Border Patrol agent last month. LaSota and Danielson remain at large.

Maximilian Bentley “Audere” Snyder, the Oxford University-educated computer scientist accused of being a “Ziz” trans terror member who murdered an 82-year-old witness against the group, released a longe manifesto statement to the San Francisco Chronicle during a phone interview.

In the statement addressed to A.I. researcher Eliezer Yudkowsky, Snyder says he will inherit several hundred thousand dollars from a trust fund. He describes animals as his siblings and explains why he is a vegan. (The trans terror group believes in veganism.) He denies being a “friend” of Jack “Ziz” LaSota.

I can report that Snyder comes from a well-to-do family and grew up in the wealthy Houghton neighborhood of Kirkland, Wash., near Seattle. He attended the elite private @lakesideschool, along with his now-wife and fellow “Ziz” trans member Teresa “Milo” Youngblut. Youngblut is in federal custody in Vermont for the shooting death of the Border Patrol agent.

When trans terror cult leader Jack “Ziz” LaSota was arrested in Delaware County, Pa. in January 2023 in connection to a still-unsolved double homicide investigation of an elderly couple, he pretended to be dead. The sheriff’s office had to hold him up for the mugshot.

Five months earlier, LaSota pretended to have died in a boating accident in California. He skipped out on court in Solano County, Calif. and his friends or family made a fake obituary for him online. His mother told the court her son “died.”

A judge in Pennsylvania lowered LaSota’s $500,000 bail to just $10,000 after his arrest. He bailed out and then promptly disappeared. Two more people were then killed—allegedly by members of his group. LaSota still remains at large today.

Trans terror cult leader Jack Amadeus “Ziz” LaSota (“she/her”) is revealed to have interned for NASA in 2013. He worked on space weather visualization software while there.

LaSota started his radicalization writings as “Ziz” in 2016, and 2017 is the first time he is known to have established a commune (in California). He radicalized and recruited trans members for the next five years, and the first known deadly attack occurred in 2022.

LaSota has several warrants for his arrest and has remained at large since his $500k bail was lowered to $10k in Delaware County, Pa. in 2023. LaSota goes by several aliases, including “Andrea Phelps.”

I’ve obtained the death certificate of the mysterious German “Ziz” Trantifa terror member who died in the shoot-out in Vermont last month that killed a Border Patrol agent.

Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt was cremated on Feb. 3. His German background as a math youth genius is largely shrouded in mystery and the German press has not been interested in reporting on him.

He came from a very wealthy and connected elite background in Freiburg.

I can now report that his parents are famous music composers and music academics. His mother is Carola Bauckholt and his father is Casper Johannes Walter. Carola was a visiting faculty member at Harvard.

Felix worked as a quantitative trader for Tower Research Capital, reportedly earning half a million a year. That money was used to finance his operations with the “Ziz” group when they relocated to Chatham County, N.C. It is believed he purchased most of the group’s extensive and expensive equipment as they sought to rebuild a commune in rural Vermont.

One of the overlooked “Ziz” trans terror members being charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated mayhem in Solano County, Calif. over a deadly attack in 2022 is “Suri Dao.” The press has not reported anything about Dao beyond her charges. The Solano County DA’s office, @SolanoSheriff and @VallejoPd have said nothing for years and are not answering my questions.

But maybe the reason Dao has been wholly overlooked is because her identity is not actually “Suri Dao.” She’s using an alias, fake identity, fake birthday—and prosecutors don’t appear to know this.

I pressed her lawyer about Dao’s legal name and after several days, he sent me a very carefully worded response: “I have only known my client to be Suri Dao.”

A new Allegany County, Md. booking photo of Trantifa terror member Michelle Zajko has been released after she pretended to be dead in her first photo. (Jack “Ziz” LaSota also pretended to be dead when he was arrested in Pennsylvania in 2023.)

I can exclusively confirm that Zajko recently shaved her head after being seen with longer hair when she was living with the cult in their preparations base in Chatham County, N.C.

Zajko, who is trans nonbinary, comes from a well-to-do family in Delaware County, Pa. In late 2022, her parents were shot execution-style at their home on New Year’s Eve. Zajko was the sole inheritor of her parents’ assets after her grandmother also died shortly soon after.

Trantifa terror cult leader Jack “Ziz” LaSota, Michelle Zajko and Daniel Blank were arrested in a forested area on Piney Mountain Road in Frostburg, Md. The rural city is in western Maryland.

Maryland State Police responded to the suspicious on-site activity and found the trio. Zajko resisted arrest. Both she and LaSota were armed.

After years on the run, the fugitive leader of the Trantifa terror cell linked to six violent deaths has finally been apprehended. Jack “Ziz” LaSota, Michelle Zajko & Daniel Blank were arrested in a forested area in western rural Maryland.

Jack “Ziz” LaSota, Michelle Zajko and Daniel Blank were found in rural Frostburg, Md. after a property owner called police.

They drove two white box trucks and had several firearms. According to a court filing, Zajko had a loaded Sig Sauer pistol on her waistband. A rifle and a second pistol were found in one of the box trucks.

LaSota and Zajko refused to identify themselves, but the three were identified with internal FBI photos. Members of the group have a history of providing law enforcement and the courts with false identities and having their surrogates tell the courts they died in an effort to get cases closed.

Zajko refused to cooperate in the arrest and had to be taken down to the ground in order to be handcuffed.

“I shouldn’t be here, I haven’t done anything wrong,” Jack LaSota, the leader of the trans terror group, said at his first court hearing in Allegany County, Md. He appeared remotely, as did his co-defendants.

He has been denied bail, even though currently he is only charged with misdemeanor firearm, obstruction and trespass offenses. The FBI confirmed to me they are working with local authorities on the case.

LaSota has arrest warrants in California and Pennsylvania. He faked his death in 2022.

Feb. 18 courtroom update: At her first court hearing, Trantifa terror cult member Michelle J. Zajko said, “I’m not a man, I’m not a man” after she was misgendered by her public defender.

Zajko is a biological female who identifies as trans nonbinary. She recently shaved her head, possibly to evade detection after the ATF released her old photo when the guns used in the Vermont deadly shooting were found to belong to her.

Trans terror cult members Jack “Ziz” LaSota, Michelle Zajko and Daniel Blank were all denied bail at their first hearing in Allegany County, Md. even though they are only currently charged with misdemeanors. They are considered high flight risks given their history. They appeared via remote appearance.

Zajko at one point had an outburst after being misgendered by her public defender. The trio’s next court date is scheduled for March 24.
