From People.com: Billy Ray Cyrus honored the firefighter who was identified as the shooting victim of a Donald Trump rally held in Pennsylvania last weekend.

On Friday, July 19, the country star, 62, performed at the funeral for 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, who, according to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, “died trying to protect his family” when a shooter opened fire at the former president’s rally on Saturday, July 13.

PEOPLE confirms Cyrus sang a rendition of “Amazing Grace” and his 1992 song “Some Gave All” as a special music selection during a celebration of life service for Comperatore at Cabot Church in Cabot, Pa., where The New York Times reports he was a longtime member.

The report notes that around 500 fire trucks (some even from Florida and Texas) participated in the procession from the church to the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company where Comperatore had served for decades.
