According to progressive Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal (Wash.), the deadly wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles, California this week are all the fault of “corporations” and “climate change.”

Sharing a video of a McDonalds restaurant going up in flames, Jayapal wrote, “Corporations got us into this mess, but even they can’t escape the devastating reality of climate change.”

Jayapal’s post has gotten over 8 million views and 23,000 comments, as she is being blasted into outer space over claim.

This is a U.S. congresswoman:

Filmmaker Robby Starbuck released the following scorching rebuke:

Hey @PramilaJayapal, Did climate change fail to remove brush for YEARS? Did it fail to plan for generator needs? Did it fail to ensure working fire hydrants? Did it fire firemen who refused the COVID vax?

We need to fire whoever did that so let us know if it was climate change. Oh yeah and by the way, this crap was the reason your party lost. You lie, cheat, spend like a drunk real housewife of Beverly Hills and all of you behave incompetently with safety and the needs of your fellow citizens. You also push deadly ideas like DEI that harm your country.

Stop blaming climate change and maybe take a new approach of being accountable as a party for your failure in a state that’s run entirely BY YOUR PARTY. Your party wasn’t prepared and they didn’t do their jobs. People died and lost their homes/businesses as a result. That’s the truth.

Comedian Tim Young wrote, “Corporations started the fire and mismanaged first responder resources in California? Sit down.”

Political commentator David Freeman told Jayapal, :You are officially the dumbest member of Congress after this post. Congrats, dipsht.”

Investor Tony Seruga blasted Jayapal for hitting on McDonalds. He wrote:

What a dipshidiot! This is Patricia Williams. Her and her daughters, Nicole Enearu and Kerri Harper-Howie, have built an empire of McDonald’s franchises in the Los Angeles, California area.

Combined, they employ more than 700 people in the community and generate annual revenues of almost $50 million. In April 2017, they opened their 13th franchise location. They are your typical franchisee. 93% of all McDonald’s are franchisee owned.

Breitbart’s Joel Pollak ripped into Jayapal, writing, “If you believe climate change is going to cause a “devastating reality,” fine: that should make you MORE serious about preparedness. Why weren’t we prepared? Or were we all supposed to drive electric cars until the planet cooled? Is that a fire prevention strategy?”

“Dumb tweet of the day,” commented actor Dean Cain, who voted for Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024.
