According to the RealClearPolitics average, former President Donald Trump regained a narrow lead in Pennsylvania, showing momentum with about 50 days until Election Day. Vice President Kamala Harris, who had led since August 2023, now trails Trump by 0.2 percent after updated polling data was factored in.

The latest poll in the RealClearPolitics average, by InsiderAdvantage, gave Trump a two-point lead over Harris. Most recent polls have been within the margin of error, with Harris holding only about a one-point average lead after entering the race.

Pennsylvania is pivotal in the 2024 election, with its 19 Electoral College votes possibly determining the outcome. Georgia and North Carolina are also crucial battlegrounds, with Trump slightly ahead in North Carolina and tied with Harris in Georgia.

A Trump win in North Carolina would pressure the Harris campaign to defend Georgia and Rust Belt states, especially Pennsylvania.
