CENSORSHIP RETURNS: Elon Musk takes shocking action against MAGA journalist amid debate on foreign workers

HEADS UP: The honeymoon appears to be over, and the censorship has started on X.

After a massive online debate over foreign workers, a huge crack has developed between the MAGA world and the two billionaires Trump appointed to lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cost-cutting agency, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

The whole saga started when journalist Laura Loomer voiced her concerns this week after Trump announced that Sriram Krishna would serve as the “Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.”

Krishna, who was born in India, has previously called to remove country caps for green cards and “unlock skilled immigration.”   Loomer sounded the alarm that so many tech executives who want more foreign workers are getting cozy with Trump.

When the huge debate first broke out on X, prominent X user “Sidharth,” whose real identity is still unknown, called for Loomer to be deplatformed. Sidharth’s X profile describes him as “High skilled Indian Immigrant. Investor. I’m a Technopreneur & Engineer. I create jobs and work with young Indian and American grads. 🇺🇸 🇮🇳.”

“Laura Loomer’s vile, racist attack mocking “high-skilled immigrants” is an outright assault on Indians, Indian-Americans, and their undeniable contributions to the U.S. and the world. Her hateful rhetoric isn’t just an insult—it’s a challenge to the dignity of a community that drives global innovation and powers America’s economy,” Sidharth raged.

“I call on @elonmusk to deplatform this rabid racist. I call on the Indian government to take stern action against this. Big Action is Coming,” he snarled.

Sure enough, the “Big Action” came.

Late Thursday night, as the debate became more heated, Musk yanked Loomer’s blue checkmark and ‘deplatformed’ her. Her X account has also been changed so her replies to other posts are not easily visible.

Loomer announced:

@elonmusk has removed my blue check mark on X because I dared to question his support for H1B visas, the replacement of American tech workers by Indian immigrants, and I questioned his relationship with China.

Looks like Elon Musk is going to be silencing me for supporting original Trump immigration policies.

I have always been America First and a die hard supporter of President Trump and I believe that promises made should be promises kept. Donald Trump promised to remove the H1B visa program and I support his policy. Now, as one of Trump’s biggest supporters, I’m having my free speech silenced by a tech billionaire for simply questioning the tech oligarchy.

Elon has decided to retaliate by removing my blue check and demonetizing me. I guess he doesn’t really believe in Free speech after all.

Musk admitted the algorithm has been changed on X, which basically allows other accounts to mute or block a person. If enough people do this, “your reach will decline significantly.”

“Just a reminder that the algorithm is trying to maximize unregretted user-seconds. If far more credible, verified subscriber accounts (not bots) mute/block your account compared to those who like your posts, your reach will decline significantly,” he wrote.

“That said, any accounts found to be engaged in coordinated attacks to spam target accounts with mute/blocks will themselves be categorized – correctly – as spam. Live by the spam, die by the spam,” he added.

Sidharth doubled down, telling Musk, “This is your call to MUTE/BLOCK the Laura Racist Loomer!”

Prominent X user and host Mario Nawfal wrote: “Translation: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”

“Yes,” Musk admitted.

In one post, Musk referred to “attention-seeking trolls,” an obvious reference to Loomer.

In another post, Musk sneered, “My tolerance for subtards is limited.”

“Full censorship of my account simply because I called out H1B visas. This is anti-American behavior by tech oligarchs. What happened to free speech?” Loomer demanded.

In another post, Loomer wrote, “We just want Trump’s agenda to be fulfilled. Why can’t we appreciate you buying X and also express our concerns? We are very reasonable people, @elonmusk. Free speech for all. Or free speech for nobody.”

Loomer then called into Steve Bannon’s show Friday morning to discuss the situation.

“Let me be clear. On H-1B, I want ZERO,” Bannon declared during the interview.

Many Trump supporters are now blasting Musk, and several reported that their blue check mark disappeared as well.

Prominent attorney Mike Davis shared a warning for Musk and Ramaswamy:

“Dear Elon and Vivek: I’m a big fan of yours.
Friendly suggestion: Stay in your lane.”

“The damage Elon did tonight, is unfixable,” user Suzanne replied.

“Which lane is that?” asked Sam Mitha.

“DOGE, not immigration,” Davis replied.

In another bit of advice, Davis wrote, “When you take a political appointment from the President, you have to filter your comments so you don’t cause political problems for the President. You’re no longer your own boss, who can say or do whatever you want. (This is a big reason I didn’t take a political appointment.)”

Denouncing the new algorithym, Amiri King wrote, “So let me get this straight. If I use my voice and popular leftist accounts over 1m decide to block me, this affects my reach? There are many, btw, that have blocked me. Tell me how this makes sense???”

“This is the right position for those who want America to win. For those who want America to lose for their own personal gain, I have no respect. Zero,” Musk insisted.

“You’re not American, and neither is your cyber jihadist,” retorted Leeroy Johnson, who posts as Viral News NYC.

“We lost all respect for you. All of it. You’re now just another liberal fraud. Free speech was all just a congame,” wrote Wendy Patterson.

Now Johnson says his reach has been reduced.

Ashley St. Clair denounced Musk’s move to censor Loomer.

“You can disagree with Laura Loomer. I do often. You can even (not that I would) justify demonetizing her because “advertisers don’t want their content next to her.” But to remove her 2500+ subscribers is insane and personal. These are people that were choosing to individually support her and 𝕏 removed them because someone did not like her posts,” she wrote.

“Welcome to Twitter,” St. Clair wrote, referencing the old platform that repeatedly conservatives.

St. Clair posted a 2016 tweet by Trump and announced that this is “The Trump we voted for.”

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec is also jumping on the bandwagon, writing, “The same tech CEOs who wanted vax mandates now want H-1B mandates. MAGA is not a corporatist movement. American people FIRST.”

“Have you or anyone in your circle been affected by H-1B or replaced by cheap foreign labor? Email us [email protected] It’s time to take a stand We are going to expose it all,” he wrote.

Attorney and MAGA supporter Paul Ingrassia wrote, “Just a reminder: the American people did not vote for Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and H-1B visas. They voted for Donald Trump and mass deportations. That’s what Make America Great Again means.”

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) wrote, “We welcomed the tech bros when they came running our way to avoid the 3rd grade teacher picking their kid’s gender – and the obvious Biden/Harris economic decline. We did not ask them to engineer an immigration policy.”

Journalist Owen Shroyer weighed in on the matter, blasting the new censorship on X. His blue checkmark is now gone.

Right Side Broadcasting reporter Liz Willis has also lost her blue checkmark.

Kylie Kreme, Exec Director of Women for America First, wrote, “Buy American. Hire American. What is so difficult? Like what am I missing about America First that includes discussing legal immigration before we even can start getting the illegals the F out? AMERICA FIRST. Not America when I feel like it benefits my company short term.”

“Is DOGE going to be in charge of auditing the H1B process? If so, that seems like a direct conflict… right? Can @RealTomHoman just be in charge of all things immigration? We all trust him & so does DJT,” Kremer added.

One person posted a tombstone, with the date that Musk purchased Twitter, and the the date the trust was broken.

Prominent X user Dom Lucre posted an image of an upside-down US flag.
