President Donald J. Trump’s joint military strikes with Israel against Iran have sparked massive celebrations as a regime change looks possible. Celebrants are expressing hope for the future of Iran, and appreciation for the U.S. and Israel for the decisive move.

With the news that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead, his body found under rubble in his compound in Iran after US and Israeli airstrikes, there is even more reason to believe change is near.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were shown a photograph of Khamenei‘s body, according to multiple Israeli defence officials.

“A photo of the body was shown to Netanyahu and Trump,” reported Israel’s Channel 12.

“Senior Israeli officials were informed of Khamenei’s elimination. His body was recovered from the rubble of his compound,” reported public broadcaster Kan.

Tehran has yet to confirm the death, and has assured its citizens that Khamenei is “commanding the field.”

But the strikes adding the Iranian regime have sparked hopes in the hearts of many who would see it topple. In order to restore freedom and justice to Iran.

In Toronto, reporter Beth Baisch captured images of one such celebration, writing in an x post, “‘USA and Israel, thank you, thank you!’ Massive crowd in Toronto expresses gratitude for the attacks against the Islamic regime in Iran. Iranians are hopeful their country will soon be free.”
