CALLED OUT: Don Lemon lambasted on social media for claiming Megyn Kelly looks ‘trans’

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is facing backlash for using “trans” as an insult toward conservative host Megyn Kelly of The Megyn Kelly Show.

During a discussion on the Clip Farmers podcast about whether Kelly looked “chopped”—slang for unattractive—Lemon asked what the term meant, and his co-host replied, “not hot.”

“Yeah, she’s chopped,” Lemon claimed. “I don’t know, the whole MAGA look… It’s too much. I think she looks trans. She looks clockable.”

The term “clockable” refers to a transgender person whose appearance makes their biological sex still recognizable, meaning they are not fully “passing” as their identified gender. Lemon has since faced criticism for using “trans” as an insult—Republicans have accused him of hypocrisy, while many on the left have expressed outrage. The controversy comes as Lemon has tried to portray himself as a strong supporter of the LGBT community, often criticizing legislation aimed at shielding children from transgender ideology.

“Are liberals using ‘trans’ as an insult now..!? lmaoo,” one X user remarked.

“I thought trans women are women and more beautiful than actual women??” another asked.

“Trans ideology has set them up to destroy each other over who looks more like a woman or a man,” another said.
