All-gender bathrooms… what could possibly go wrong?
From KCTV5.com: A Kansas City International Airport restaurant employee has been charged after he was accused of recording several women in bathroom stalls.
A probable cause document stated that on March 9, 2026, a woman reported seeing a cell phone under a bathroom stall partition at the airport.
The woman victim told Kansas City International police officers that she had been using the all-gender restroom in Concourse A when she saw the corner of a cell phone with an illuminated flashlight under the stall partition. She said a man had walked past her and smiled before she entered the stall, documents alleged.
When police reviewed surveillance video, they saw Teriosi Ludwig, 32, jogging away from the restroom about 35 seconds before the victim exited. Officers tracked Ludwig on camera to Martin City Brewery, a restaurant on the concourse where he worked, the court document stated.
When police inspected Ludwig’s phone, they found videos of women as they were lowering their pants and undergarments to use the restroom. Ludwig admitted to the disgusting invasion of privacy, saying he just “had the urge to film” the women, although he acknowledged it was illegal.
Based on the footage police viewed, they say there were at least 65 additional victims. He typically entered a stall next to a victim, then held his phone underneath the partition to film them.
The footage was taken over the course of several days, between January 16, 2026 and February 12, 2026.
Ludwig was booked into the Platte County Jail on a $25,000 bond, and was fired from his job at the Martin City Brewery airport restaurant the same day.
The report doesn’t provide any details about Ludwig’s citizenship or immigration status.

Kansas City Councilman Nathan Willet is calling for the airport to have more women-only bathrooms. In a post on X Wednesday morning, he wrote:
It wasn’t until the 66th victim that the creepy predator got caught. So what that shows is less than a 2% chance you’ll get caught recording women & children inside the all gender restrooms at KCI.
That is absolutely unacceptable! The recordings went on for over 3 months. Mr. Mayor – this isn’t just one incident.
To my progressive friends out there – I do believe we should make space for folks who want individual or family style spaces to travel in comfort. AND yes, you’re correct that the creep who did it appears to be a straight male. That point is irrelevant.
The point is our first priority should be protecting women & children which means making the majority of the stalls in KCI safe and clean for our ladies. This is common sense. Please support my resolution tomorrow at City Hall. It’s a win/win that will restore trust back into our public spaces!

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, a Democrat, claimed that there is no need to eliminate the all-gender bathrooms over this “one reported incident,” totally ignoring that there were at least 66 victims in total.
Many woman presumedly don’t even know they were recorded, and prosecutors are asking for more women to come forward if they used the airport’s all-gender bathrooms during January and February.
