Elon Musk, who heads up the Department of Government Efficiency, just exposed a massive amount of money spent by FEMA last week that is in direct violation with the Trump administration’s agenda.

Early Monday morning, Musk announced:

“The @DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59MILLION LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants. Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order.

“That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals! A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds.”

Two hours later, Acting FEMA Director Cameron Hamilton responded, declaring that this would be stopped.

“I want to thank the @DOGE team for making me aware of this. Effective yesterday these payments have all been suspended from FEMA. Personnel will be held accountable,” Hamilton wrote.

“US Congress should have never passed bills in 2023 and 2024 asking FEMA to do this work. This stops now,” he added.

However, it gets worse. Prominent X user @amuse pointed out where the money is really going: “Perhaps more shockingly, the money went to Pakistan thanks to a deal brokered by Sen Schumer. The Roosevelt Hotel is owned by Pakistan and is now leased by NYC to house illegal migrants. Thanks to FEMA, Pakistan has made $100 million so far out of a total $220 million deal negotiated by the city.”

Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Tex.) responded, “FEMA sending $59 million last week to NYC for luxury hotels for illegal aliens isn’t a rare occurrence. Taxpayers have been funding freebies for illegals for years. @FEMA_Cam, take a look at my work to hold NGOs accountable and defund them once and for all: https://x.com/Lancegooden/status/1884599133375230462.”
