BREAKING: Two illegal aliens shot after attempting to run over federal agents in Portland

From ABC News: Two people were shot by federal agents in Portland, Oregon, on Thursday, according to local police.

Portland police officers responding to a call for help shortly before 2:30 p.m. local time found a man and woman with “apparent gunshot wounds,” according to the police department.

“Officers confirmed that federal agents had been involved in a shooting,” the Portland Police Department said in a statement, adding, “Portland Police were not involved in the incident.”

Federal agents involved in the shooting are with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to sources.

ABC titled their report, “Man, woman shot by federal agents in Portland.” But that’s NOT the whole story….

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin shared more details: [emphasis added]

Here are the facts:

At 2:19 PST, US Border Patrol agents were conducting a targeted vehicle stop in Portland, Oregon. The passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transnational Tren de Aragua prostitution ring and involved in a recent shooting in Portland. The vehicle driver is believed to be a member of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents.

Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired defensive shots. The driver drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene.

This situation is evolving and more information is forthcoming.

In a press release, the Portland Police announced:

At 2:24 p.m., officers received information that a man who had been shot was calling and requesting help in the area of Northeast 146th Avenue and East Burnside. Officers responded and found a male and female with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers applied a tourniquet and summoned emergency medical personnel. The patients were transported to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Officers have determined the two people were injured in the shooting involving federal agents.

“We are still in the early stages of this incident,” said Chief Bob Day. “We understand the heightened emotion and tension many are feeling in the wake of the shooting in Minneapolis, but I am asking the community to remain calm as we work to learn more.”

Journalist Andy Nog announced, “Anti-ICE accounts have circulated screenshots alleging that a 911 dispatcher leaked to them information about a call for police assistance. The call log also shows a 911 call from Border Patrol stated that a husband and wife who were shot almost ran the agent(s) over.”

The screenshot of the 911 data shows the man is 33 years old.

FBI Portland posted a statement on X, announcing they were investigating the incident. Oddly, the post was later deleted.

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson, a Democrat, released a statement raging against federal immigration officials and the Trump administration.

“We cannot sit by while constitutional protections erode and bloodshed mounts. Portland is not a ‘training ground’ for militarized agents, and the “full force” threatened by the administration has deadly consequences. As Mayor, I call on ICE to end all operations in Portland until a full investigation can be completed,” he declared.

Then, Wilson literally called for a massive protest.

“I call on every Portlander to represent our values and to show up with calm and purpose during this difficult time. Portland does nto respond to violence with violence. We respond with clarity, unity, and a commitment to justice. WE must stand together to protect Portland,” he wrote.
