From Fox News: In one of the first actions of his second term, President Donald Trump pardoned more than 1,000 Jan. 6 rioters on Monday night after the inaugural parade.

Sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, Trump signed off on releasing 1,500 Jan. 6 prisoners. The order requires the Bureau of Prisons to act immediately on receipt of the pardons.

“We hope they come out tonight,” Trump said.

More than 1,200 people were convicted of crimes related to the riots and only a couple hundred remain behind bars. The Department of Justice (DOJ) pursued prosecutions of Jan. 6 rioters in the immediate aftermath of the ordeal.

At his inaugural parade Monday evening, which was held indoors at the Capitol One Arena, Trump had signed 8 executive orders in front of the entire crowd.

He then announced, “Tonight I’m going to be signing on the J6 hostages, pardons to get them out. I’m going to the Oval Office and we’ll be signing pardons for a lot of people.”

Sure enough, the was the VERY FIRST executive order Trump signed when he returned to the Oval Office Monday night.

The Trump War Room is blasting out video clips of each executive order as Trump signs it.

At one point, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Trump if Joe Biden left him a letter.

“He may have,” Trump said, as he opened his desk drawer to look. Sure enough, he pulled out an envelope. Reporters tried to get him to read it aloud, but Trump decline, saying he would read it later and then determine whether to share it.

Below is a look at the Oval Office, as an entire crowd of reporters are looking on.

Below is the full live-streaming video of Trump in the Oval Office. As he is signing the executive orders, reporters are peppering him with questions, and he is patiently responding to each one.

“Does Biden ever do news conferences like this?” he quipped.

Reporters assured him this had never happened during the Biden administration.

At the rate this process is going, Trump may be late to his Inaugural Balls tonight, but he doesn’t appear to mind, and is totally focused on getting to work for the American people.

Below are the executive orders Trump signed at the inaugural parade:

1. Rescinded 78 Executive orders issued by Joe Biden

2. Regulatory freeze preventing bureaucrats from issuing any further regulations.

3. Freeze on all federal hiring, except for military and other specific categories

4. Requirement that federal workers return to full time, in-person work immediately.

5. Directive to every department and agency in the federal government to address the cost of living crisis.

6. Withdrawal from the Paris Climate Treaty, which he said will save America over $1 Trillion.

7. Letter that will be sent to the United Nations explaining withdrawal from the Paris Climate Treaty.

8. Directive to the federal government ordering the restoration of freedom of speech and preventing government censorship of speech moving forward.

9. Directive to the federal government ending the weaponization of government against the political adversaries of the previous administration.

After he finished signing the orders, Trump grabbed up the pens on his desk and tossed them out to the roaring crowd.
