President Donald Trump posted a short announcement Saturday night that carried a powerful punch!
Trump said he will be issuing an executive order requiring voter ID in all elections.
Trump did not say in his short statement when the executive order will be issued, or when it will go into effect, but it is presumed that he intends for it to apply to next year’s Midterm Elections.
“Voter I.D. Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS! I Will Be Doing An Executive Order To That End!!!” Trump announced.
“Also, No Mail-In Voting, Except For Those That Are Very Ill, And The Far Away Military. USE PAPER BALLOTS ONLY!!! President DJT,” the statement reads.
Democrats are very likely to vehemently oppose the move, as they have repeatedly claimed that voter ID requirements are racist and amount to “voter suppression.”

“Finally. This is what I voted for,” one person responded on X.
“I don’t know why this was not implemented umpteen years ago!” another added.
Earlier this month, an Appeals Court ruled that the state of Texas can require voter ID for mail-in ballots.
