In an event from the Oval Office Thursday afternoon, President Donald Trump announced that the cost for IVF fertility treatments is about to come way down.
Trump noted that many medical drugs are much more expensive in the United States than what people have to pay in other nations.
“The number 1 fertility drug used in IVF is currently 700% more expensive in the United States than the rest of the world,” Trump said.
The president also said insurance coverage will now be available for IVF treatments. “This will make all fertility care more affordable and accessible,” he said.
