President Donald Trump is on a mission to get rogue Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky out of Congress, after Massie has balked at supporting Trump’s agenda multiple times.
In October, Trump had urged former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein to run against Massie, and Gallrein announced his candidacy for Massie’s seat soon after.
Over the weekend, Massie blasted out multiple statements as he joined Democrats in condemning the Trump administration’s capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.
It’s not American oil. It’s Venezuelan oil.
Oil companies entered into risky deals to develop oil, and the deals were canceled by a prior Venezuelan government.

Clearly furious, President Trump just blasted out a new post, encouraging Kentucky voters to support Gallrein and vote Massie out of Congress.
Trump wrote:
The incredible people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District, who want desperately to get rid of Thomas Massie, the Worst “Republican” Congressman we have had in many years, gave us a mandate to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! The person that will help us do the job, and do it right, is Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, Fifth Generation Kentucky Farmer, and American Hero, Captain Ed Gallrein, a true Patriot.
Today, Ed, who also happens to be central casting, officially filed to run for Congress. Gallrein said on January 2 that he’s already raised $1.2 million for his campaign.

When this Nation called, I left the farmlands of Kentucky to serve as a career Navy SEAL Officer. Today, we are at a critical moment in our Nation’s history again, and I’m answering another call to service above self, stepping forward to serve my fellow Kentuckians in Congress. Politicians like Thomas Massie are blocking President Trump’s agenda and hurting our Nation. Kentuckians deserve a representative who will work with our President in the service of our Great Nation, not against him and what we stand for.
This filing wasn’t just paperwork. It is emblematic of my commitment to my fellow Kentuckians. It was witnessed by the kind of people my campaign is about so as to serve them. Sallie and James Edington of Henry County are raising a family and growing a small business, Schrocks Country Kitchens.
