As questions are swirling over whether President Donald Trump will decide to use the U.S. military to attack Iran, Trump had White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to deliver a message to the press Thursday afternoon.
In a clear ploy to keep Iran guessing, Trump says he will make the decision within two weeks.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Leavitt quoted Trump as saying.

The Wall Street Journal had reported: Trump told senior aides late Tuesday that he approved of attack plans for Iran, but was holding off to see if Tehran would abandon its nuclear program, people familiar with the deliberations said.
Trump fired back on Truth Social, “The Wall Street Journal has No Idea what my thoughts are concerning Iran!”
“Trust in President Trump. President Trump has incredible instincts and President Trump kept America and the world safe in his first term as president,” Leavitt said.
