Amid the ongoing investigations into the massive fraud scandals involving Somali migrants in Minnesota, the Somalis are becoming more confrontational, and even violent, against journalists who are exposing their fraud schemes.
Sunday afternoon, as a group of conservative independent journalists were working in the Minneapolis area, a group of Somali thugs just grabbed a $1,000 camera out of journalist Nick Sortor’s hand and took off with it.
Based on a video posted on X by another journalist, Cam Higby, Sortor was driving, while filming the area with the window down. A Somali woman allegedly snatched the camera, ran off with it, jumped into another vehicle and took off, driving down the sidewalk.
Sortor jumped out of his car and tried to chase them down. His hand got stuck in the door handle, and the camera thieves kept driving, dragging Sortor along with them.
“Somali thugs in Minneapolis just stole @nicksortor’s camera and then fled from him by driving down an icy sidewalk. Bystanders insisted we have to leave, and don’t belong in Minnesota. They followed Sortor’s vehicle for roughly 30 minutes, honking,” Higby explained.
He also shared a photo of the thieve’s car, showing their license plate.

Sortor also posted the video, and wrote, “BREAKING: A group of Somali thugs just ROBBED me of my $1,000 camera in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis. They then DRAGGED ME DOWN THE STREET as my hand got trapped in their door handle. NOBODY bothered helping. DHS MUST RAID THIS PLACE!”

Sortor posted a photo of his bloodied hand and said it’s the car that no longer has a door handle.
Yep! The one that no longer has a driver’s side door handle 🤣 pic.twitter.com/v9oNjQ5H24

Attorney Mike Davis responded by saying he is buying Sortor a new camera.
Man I appreciate that more than you know! It’s @nicksortor on Venmo
Certainly didn’t expect that. You’re the man, Mike.

Not “we.” Just the Somalis.

Apparently I need a full time security detail just so I can DRIVE AROUND Minneapolis without getting robbed?
I thought today was going to be a relatively mild one.
Seems I was wrong.

Yes they did.

The group said they reported it to the police, but the police claimed even with the license plate number, there’s little chance of getting the camera back.
We did report it. Police said even with a plate number low chance they’ll retrieve it.

A police officer’s only response was to simply tell the white journalists to get out of the Somali migrants’ neighborhood.
🚨 @MinneapolisPD: “LEAVE THE AREA”
MPD told @nicksortor and I to LEAVE THE AREA after WE were attacked, followed, threatened, robbed, and Nick was nearly killed.
They indicated that there was a low probability the camera would be recovered despite providing a full plate. pic.twitter.com/JfO5gVP07c

“I literally got robbed and Minneapolis Police decided it was my fault for being White in a Somali neighborhood,” Sortor declared in one post.
No chance in hell. I literally got robbed and Minneapolis Police decided it was my fault for being White in a Somali neighborhood.

Notice how many Somalis come up to me and tell me to get out of THEIR city
Pretty wild!

UPDATE: The FBI now says they are investigating the case.
We’re on it. https://t.co/NfTouaIb0a
