In a stunning development on Monday, the Department of Homeland Security has just announced that Hilton Hotels has refused to provide rooms for DHS and ICE agents, and cancelled their reservations.
The announcement from DHS reads:
NO ROOM AT THE INN! @HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement.
When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations.
This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?

DHS also shared a copy of two emails one DHS agent received on January 2, at 2:45 p.m. regarding their reservation. The first email reads:
This email is in regards to the reservation you made with the Hampton Inn Lakeville property.
We have noticed an influx of GOV reservations made today that have been for DHS, and we ware not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property. If you are with DHS or immigration, let us know as we will have to cancel your reservation.
Please pass on this info to your coworkers that we are not allowing any immigration agents to house on our property. Reply at your earliest convenience.
Less than two hours later, a second email was sent, which reads:
After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected with your name and we will be cancelling your upcoming reservation. You should see a proper cancellation email in yoru inbox shortly from Hilton.
ICE also posted a copy of the emails and wrote, “Hey @HiltonHotels — why did your team in Minneapolis cancel our federal law enforcement officer and agents’ reservations?”

The House Republicans X account demanded, “Why is @HiltonHotels running cover for criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota and maliciously canceling reservations for our brave men and women in law enforcement?”

News Nation reporter Jeff Arnold reached out to Hilton Hotels, who responded with the following statement:
“Hilton hotels serve as welcoming places for all. This hotel is independently owned and operated, and the actions referenced are not reflective of Hilton values. We are investigating this matter with this individual hotel, and can confirm that Hilton works with governments, law enforcement and community leaders around the world to ensure our properties are open and inviting to everyone.”

This is what happens when you let foreigners run hotels in the US.
Look at the names from both hotels that can be sussed out from the screenshots. https://t.co/LpZkz7JZmb pic.twitter.com/hIqGEIL0BZ

@HiltonHotels As a Diamond member with 30 stays just this past year, you have lost this customer. I stand for law and order. You clearly stand for criminal illegal aliens. Your actions look suspect and I suspect the @DOJ will be looking into your involvement. Shameful behavior.… https://t.co/ktizNuIvcC
