Late Saturday night, the Providence, Rhode Island Police Department released an 11-second video of a “person of interest” following a mass shooting at Brown University.
At least two people were killed and another 9 were injured when a gunman entered a classroom a little after 4:00 p.m. Saturday and opened fire. Students were reportedly taking final exams in the building at the time of the shooting.
Police declared during a press briefing Saturday night that they have no video footage of the shooter inside the building.
However, the video released Saturday night shows a man dressed all in black walking outside on the sidewalk and rounding the corner. It appears to have been footage taken just prior to the shooting.
The video cuts off as the man walks on down the sidewalk, and does not show him entering the building.
