BREAKING: Minneapolis church shooter identified, sickening details emerge

The horrific shooting during an all-school mass at a Catholic church in Minneapolis Wednesday morning has very eery similarities to a shooting at a Christian school in Nashville on March 27, 2023, in which a transgender person killed three children and three adults.

From the New York Post: The deranged gunman who slaughtered two children and injured at least 17 others who were attending morning mass at a Catholic school in Minneapolis has been identified — as a disturbing video believed to have been posted by the shooter shows “kill Donald Trump” and “for the children” scrawled on gun magazines.

Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s, opened fire through the stained glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church during a celebratory back-to-school Mass filled with children, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police are investigating whether a series of sick YouTube videos shared on an account hours before the shooting was connected to Westman, law enforcement sources told The Post.

In one video, a hand slowly turns the pages of a red notebook, which is laid out on top of what appears to be schematic gun diagrams.

After opening fire on the church during the mass service Wednesday morning, Westman then reportedly shot and killed himself in the parking lot.

The media is cautiously tripping around the issue, saying the shooter goes by two names: Robert Westman and Robin Westman. Fox News said it is still unclear which name police will use on official records.

Westman, 23, a biological male who identified as female, changed his name from Robert to Robin when he was 17 years old, according to a court filing dated January 15, 2020.  Since he was still a minor, his parents signed off on the name change.

Journalist Nick Sortor shared screenshots and wrote:

BREAKING — CONFIRMED: Robin Westman (previously ROBERT Westman), the Minneapolis Catholic School shooter, was a MAN who “identified” as a woman. TRANS VlOLENCE MUST BE ADDRESSED NOW!

He began identifying as “trans” as a MINOR, and his parents signed off on it, per court records. His name was ROBERT Westman until 2020, when he changed his name to ROBIN Westman.

Messages scrawled on the weapons the shooter displays in now-scrubbed video footage read: “Where is your God?”, “Fuck Optics,” and “Kill Trump Now!”

Jake Jackson, a Trump 2024 Missouri Delegate, shared the following: “I have saved screenshots and recordings of the video manifesto of the Minnesota Catholic School Shooter Robin Westman that he uploaded to YouTube. Warning, it is disturbing and graphic. In the video, he whispers and hums to himself “I wanna kill kill myself” and stabs an image he drew of the school blueprint. There is also a trans flag sticker with a gun on it that says “Defend Equality”. His writings don’t appear to be in English—- they appear to be in Russian and in the video he was heard whispering in Russian. The video was scrubbed from YouTube while I saved these.”

Another internet sleuth, X user @TotalBodyPublic, has posted a number of screenshots from the alleged shooter’s videos before YouTube took them down.

In a copy of a handwritten alleged manifesto, Westman writes, “I have wanted this or so long. I am not well. I am not right. I am a sad person, haunted by these thoughts that do not go away. I know this is wrong but I can’t seem to stop myself. I am severly depressed and have been suicidal for years. Only recently have I lost all hope and decided to perform my final action against this world. I don’t want to kneel down for the injustices of this world. I want to die. I’d rather die on my feet than lie on my knees, constantly in pain.”
