A leaked campaign ad video, originally scheduled for release on Monday, was posted today, revealing Kamala Harris’s choice of Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate for the 2024 election.
Shapiro, the Governor of Pennsylvania, who is of Jewish background, brings strategic significance to the ticket, as Pennsylvania is a crucial battleground state.
The video, which showcases the partnership and their vision for the campaign, was accidentally leaked by a staffer for Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker. The premature posting has inadvertently given the public an early glimpse into the Democratic ticket.
Shapiro has served as the Governor of Pennsylvania since January 2023 and previously held the position of Pennsylvania Attorney General. He is known for his work on criminal justice reform and consumer protection.
