Tanja Benton, a former bio statistical research scientist at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST), was awarded nearly $700,000 by a federal jury after being fired for refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Benton, who had worked at BCBST for over 17 years, filed a lawsuit alleging unlawful termination based on religious discrimination.
The case is seen as setting a precedent for others who may have been terminated for similar reasons, with some commentators suggesting it could lead to a wave of similar lawsuits across the United States.

BREAKING: Tennessee woman who was fired for refusing her employer’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate has won a settlement worth almost $700,000.
My take: Sue them all. Start with Biden, especially if you are a member of the military who was relieved of duty for not taking the poison.
