From PEOPLE.com: Tatiana Schlossberg, the middle child of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, died on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at age 35.

The news was shared by the social media accounts for the JFK Library Foundation, on behalf of Tatiana’s extended family.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,” read the post, which was signed by “George, Edwin and Josephine Moran, Ed, Caroline, Jack, Rose and Rory.”

Schlossberg announced that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in an essay published by The New Yorker in November 2025.

Schlossberg and her husband, Dr. George Moran, have two children together, a 3-year-old son and an 19-month-old daughter. Schlossberg explained that doctors discovered her cancer just hours after she gave birth to their daughter in May 2024, and said she never really even got to take care of her baby because she had to immediately undergo cancer treatments.

In her essay published by The New Yorker on November 22, she said doctors told her she might have a year left to live. But her time was cut much shorter, as she only lived another 40 days.

The JFK Library had posted photos of the couple’s wedding in September 2017.
