BREAKING: DOJ serves grand jury subpoenas against multiple Minnesota Democrats

Fox News reporter Alexis McAdams, who has been covering the anti-ICE riots in Minneapolis, announced in a post on X Tuesday afternoon that the Justice Department has started rolling out the subpoenas against Minnesota Democrats who are encouraging the anti-ICE protesters.

This comes after a violent weekend, in which a Somali migrant stole a camera from independent journalist Nick Sortor, then dragged him down the street after his hand got stuck in the door handle.

In another appalling incident, an anti-ICE mob of screaming activists invaded a church during their Sunday morning services.

Adams announced:

BREAKING sources tell @FoxNews the DOJ has served grand jury subpoenas today to 5 Minnesota government offices — including the Governor’s Office, the AG’s office, and the Minneapolis Mayor’s Office.

The subpoenas are part of a federal investigation into alleged conspiracy to coerce or obstruct federal law enforcement during ongoing ICE operations in Minnesota.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz appears to have responded to news of the subpoenas, as he blasted out a statement on X, fuming against the Trump administration for their efforts to apprehend the illegal alien criminals in Minnesota. He wrote:

“Let me be absolutely clear: The State of Minnesota will not be drawn into political theater. The Justice Department investigation, sparked by calls for accountability in the face of violence, chaos, and the killing of Renee Good, does not seek justice. It is a partisan distraction. Minnesotans are more concerned with safety and peace rather than with baseless legal tactics aimed at intimading public servants standing shoulder to shoulder with their community.

“My focus has always been protecting the people of this state, not protecting myself. Families are scared. Kids are afraid to go to school. Small businesses are hurting. A mother is dead, and the people responsible have yet to be held accountable. That’s where the energy of the federal government should be directed: toward restoring trust, accountability , and real law and order, not political retaliation.

“Minnesota will not be intimidated into silence and neither will I.”
