Another member of the radical Democrat ‘Squad’ is on the way out the door from the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri lost her re-election bid in the state’s primary election Tuesday evening in a major defeat, to Wesley Bell, a St. Louis County Democrat prosecutor.  With 94% of the vote in, Bell had won the race with 51%, compared to 45.7% for Bush.

Bush, 48, a former nurse and a Black Lives Matter activist, has served in Congress since January 2021. Immediately after winning in the 2020 election, she joined ranks with the far-left progressive “Squad” congressional group, and has been the center of multiple controversies throughout her tenure.

Bush has brazenly called to abolish police, abolish prisons, and abolish ICE, as well as being a vocal supporter of abortion, gun control, and pro-Hamas protesters. She was also one of eight Democrats to vote against funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system in September 2021.

Bell, 49, reportedly also shares many of Bush’s liberal policies, but unlike her, is a supporter of Israel. Bell describes himself as a moderate Democrat, and first ran against Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) last year, but dropped out in October, and said he would aim for Bush’s seat instead.

Decision Desk HQ called the race for Bell just after 9pm CT.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) cheered, “The Many have spoken! Congratulations to pro-Israel progressive leader @bell4mo on your big win against anti-Israel Squad member Rep. Cori Bush! AIPAC and our 4.5 million grassroots members are proud to stand with Wesley Bell! Being pro-Israel is good policy and good politics! ”

Conservatives began celebrating Bush’s loss on social media as soon as the votes started rolling in, showing Bell with a massive lead.
