BREAKING: Congressman blasts FBI for releasing Trump shooter’s body for cremation

From the New York Post: Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins has blasted the FBI for releasing attempted Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ body to his family for cremation days after the shooting — calling it “disturbing” that the agency would impede further investigation.

The Republican congressman said he discovered that Crooks’ body was handed over to his family when he requested to examine it during his visit to the Butler, Pennsylvania rally site to investigate the shooting.

“My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite a stir and revealed a disturbing fact… the FBI released the body for cremation 10 days after (July 13),” Higgins wrote in the report to the July 13 Task Force, a bipartisan committee organized to investigate the security failures around the shooting.

“On J23, Crooks was gone. Nobody knew this until Monday, August 5, including the County Coroner, law enforcement, Sheriff, etc.”

In a press release, Higgins highlighted several key points from his preliminary investigation:

Notable observations include:

  • “U.S. Secret Service did not retrieve the radios that had been set aside for them by Butler County tactical command. The radio comms were properly and perfectly arranged during the extensive pre-mission planning.”
  • “All 8 casings (from shots fired by Crooks) were recovered and are allegedly in proper possession of the FBI.”
  • “The 9th shot fired on J13 was from a Butler SWAT operator from the ground about 100 yards away from the AGR building. Shot 9 hit Crooks’ rifle stock and fragged his face/neck/right shoulder area from the stock breaking up.”
  • “The 10th (and, I believe, final) shot was fired from the southern counter-sniper team.”
  • “My effort to examine Crooks’ body on Monday, August 5, caused quite a stir and revealed a disturbing fact… the FBI released the body for cremation 10 days after J13.”
  • “The water tower was cleared by drone J13 AM by the County tactical commander, ESU Commander Lenz himself.”

“This preliminary investigative report is reflective of my determination to deliver full truth to the American people,” Higgins announced in a post on X.

J/13 COVER-UP: Congressman Clay Higgins has released an investigative report on the J/13 Trump assassination attempt. It reveals that the body of Thomas Crooks, the shooter, was cremated just 10 DAYS after the shooting occurred on July 23rd.

This means the body was cremated 1 day before FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the house committee on July 24th about the status of the ongoing investigation into J/13.

The County Coroner revealed this would have NEVER happened without permission from the FBI.

Just four days after the shooting, a photo was posted showing the roof where Crooks was shot already being hosed off by an FBI agent.
