Former Fox News star, and friend of Trump, Bill O’Reilly reported on Twitter that Joe Biden has decided to quit the 2024 presidential race due to unfavorable internal polling and a decline in fundraising.
O’Reilly did not offer his source, but the tone of his tweet was very certain.
The announcement has sparked discussions among political commentators and the public about potential replacements for Biden on the Democratic ticket.
Some suggest Kamala Harris, while others propose alternative candidates like Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, or Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan.
The decision has also raised questions about the future of Harris if Biden steps down, as she is seen as a key figure in any replacement scenario but faces significant unpopularity among voters.
