President Donald Trump delivered some bad news to all the recipients of Joe Biden’s pardons… Trump says the pardons are null and void!
The pardons were all allegedly signed by an auto-pen machine, and not by Biden himself. Therefore, Trump says they are not legal.
Trump first spoke to reporters while aboard Air Force One Sunday evening, as he was returning to Washington, D.C.
“It looks like we had an autopen for a president… Did he know what he was doing? Did he authorize it or was this somebody in an office, maybe a Radical Left lunatic just signing whatever he wants?… To sign pardons with an autopen is disgraceful,” Trump said.
He noted that his own administration uses the autopen for general correspondence, such as responding to supporter requests or sending letters to sick children, etc., but not for official business documents.

When asked if the pardons Biden issued via autopen are void, Trump replied, “I think so. It’s not my decision. That would be up to a court.”

Later Sunday night, Trump released the following statement on Truth Social:
The “Pardons” that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen.
In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime.
Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level.
The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!

Before leaving office on January 20, Biden had given a premptive pardon to all nine members of the January 6 Committee, including Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), then-Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), as well as preemptive pardons to former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and others.
In December, Biden issued a wide-ranging pardon for his son, Hunter, which included “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”
On his last day in office, Biden issued pardons for his brother James Biden and other relatives Monday for unspecified crime.
Biden also commuted the sentences of thousands of inmates.
NBC News argued in a report that use of the autopen is legal:
However, the U.S. Constitution makes clear the president has unique executive powers to issue pardons and makes no provision for subsequent presidents to rescind them — for issues relating to the choice of pen or anything else.
Biden and President Barack Obama both used an autopen device to sign official documents, a practice which is legally binding, according to 2005 guidance from the Office of Legal Counsel at the Department of Justice, commissioned by President George W. Bush.
“The President need not personally perform the physical act of affixing his signature to a bill he approves and decides to sign in order for the bill to become law,” the office said, adding that this includes the use of an autopen.
Apparently, Biden DID personally sign the pardon for his son, Hunter.
