BOMBSHELL REPORT: Tulsi Gabbard is put on a government watch list for a very bizarre reason

From the Daily Mail: Tulsi Gabbard, the former congresswoman and Democrat presidential candidate, has reportedly been placed under surveillance at airports and on planes.

Whistleblowers told the Air Marshal National Council that Gabbard’s name appears on the Quiet Skies program.

Under the program federal air marshals follow U.S. citizens who pose an ‘elevated risk to aviation security’ through airports and on flights.

The shocking situation was exposed by Tristan Leavitt, president of the whistleblower group Empower Oversight.

According to a recent letter from Leavitt, “Ms. Gabbard was reportedly added to the Quiet Skies program on July 23, 2024 – one day after she criticized the Biden administration in an interview with [Fox News host] Laura Ingraham.”

“The Special Mission Coverage in Ms. Gabbard’s case reportedly involves two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshals on every flight Ms. Gabbard boards. Absent any significant evidence that Ms. Gabbard actually poses a significant threat, this is a gross waste of taxpayer resources and an abuse of TSA’s authority,” Leavitt declared in the letter.

In a social media thread on Tuesday, Leavitt shared the following:

Highlight 🧵 for our latest letter at @EMPOWR_us about the Air Marshals’ improper surveillance of Americans, including @TulsiGabbard.

Back in 2021 and 2022, @EMPOWR_us helped a Federal Air Marshal disclosure to the DHS Inspector General that that TSA was improperly targeting Americans for surveillance. Because the Air Marshal’s wife was falsely accused of being at the Capitol on J6, she was placed on a watchlist and given surveillance and additional screening when she flew.

Senator @RonJohnsonWI even wrote to TSA and the FBI asking about the case of this TSA whistleblower. But neither TSA nor the DHS OIG did anything about it.

Now, just one day after @TulsiGabbard appeared on @IngrahamAngle and criticized the Biden Administration, she too was added to a list and subjected to this surveillance and enhanced screening under the “Quiet Skies” program, which has been criticized in the past.

Leavitt provided a jaw-dropping new update Wednesday:

@EMPOWR_us has confirmed from whistleblowers that @TulsiGabbard was under Quiet Skies surveillance on not just one, or two, or even three flights… She has had Air Marshals there to monitor her on EIGHT FLIGHTS since her July 23 interview with @IngrahamAngle.

Furthermore, TSA is mobilizing a retaliatory investigation into who made these protected whistleblower disclosures. I wrote to @DHSOIG this morning asking him to ensure these whistleblowers are protected.

Here, whistleblowers reasonably believed that assigning three Air Marshals and countless other in-airport resources to EIGHT FLIGHTS of @TulsiGabbard’s is a gross waste of funds and an abuse of authority–especially after they surely realized after the first flight that she poses a threat to no one. (Except America’s enemies–she is, after all, a colonel in the Army Reserves! 💪🏽)

The Whistleblower Protection Act doesn’t limit who most federal employees can make their protected whistleblower disclosures to, so they can go to the OIG (as we have), to Congress, to a professional association like @FAMS_AMNC, or to the press (as @rjmaclean did).

Rather than opening a “leak” investigating to try and intimidate whistleblowers, TSA should be trying to figure out how on earth @TulsiGabbard got added to their Quiet Skies list–and why they haven’t taken her off after EIGHT FLIGHTS.

One of the reasons Gabbard, 43, travels so much… she is a United States Army Reserve officer, and has served in the military for over 21 years.

“I am grateful to serve. I recently took command of the 1-354 BN in Oklahoma — a Drill Sergeant battalion that supports the Army’s Initial Entry Training mission. I just got off duty, and am grateful to serve with and support excellent NCOs who have chosen this path. God Bless America. #ThisWellDefend,” she announced Monday.

One social media user asked, “Out of curiosity, and an abundance of not knowing much… How do you command a battalion in Oklahoma and live in Hawaii? I readily admit, I don’t know if you still live in Hawaii anymore. I also don’t know much about the NG or Reserves.”

Gabbard replied, “I travel… a lot.”

Summary: While Gabbard is serving in the U.S. military, the Biden administration is tracking her every flight as if she poses a threat to America.

NEW UPDATE: Now, the TSA has reportedly opened a retaliatory “leak probe” on the whistleblowers who exposed the surveillance program on Gabbard.

The bombshell news has outraged many conservatives, including columnist Miranda Devine, who wrote, “Outrageous, worrying, and not surprising. How many real terrorists go unmonitored while upstanding citizens are tracked like menaces?”
