BOASTFUL CLAIM: Kamala Harris touts special honor she claims will be awarded to her

Defeated 2024 Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris has now passed the one-year mark of her “mourning period” over her loss to President Donald Trump in last year’s election, the New York Times noted in a report on Tuesday.

The Times wrote: Defeat hit Ms. Harris deeply. She had not felt such grief since the death of her mother, she has said, a line that sears even as she repeats it so often as to become a talking point. She spent the early months of 2025 cooking and cocooning away from the cameras.

Last month Harris sat down for an exclusive interview with the New York Times backstage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, before going out on stage for one of the final stops on her nationwide book tour.

According to the Times, Harris doesn’t even want to talk about 2028:

The one thing that Kamala Harris absolutely, definitely, most certainly does not want to talk about is whether she is thinking about running for president again.

But there is one thing she is very sure of and doesn’t mind talking about… Harris believes a marble bust of her will be erected in the halls of Congress.

“I understand the focus on ’28 and all that,” Harris claimed during the interview. “But there will be a marble bust of me in Congress. I am a historic figure like any vice president of the United States ever was.”

“Thousands of people are coming to hear my voice. Thousands and thousands,” Harris boasted. “Every place we’ve gone has been sold out.”

Harris is being widely mocked on social media for her boastful claim about getting a marble bust of herself in Congress.
