Hillary Clinton, who was defeated by President-Elect Donald Trump in the 2016 election, has raged against Trump repeatedly while he has been involved in a heated battle against Kamala Harris for the White House.
Last month, Clinton went on a tirade, claiming that Trump was “unqualified to be president” because he is “increasingly unstable and unhinged,” and wildly claimed, “He’s increasingly threatening and dangerous.”
In another interview Clinton had blasted Trump for holding a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York, and bizarrely claimed that he would be reenacting the infamous Nazi rally that took place in the same arena in 1939.
Clinton has compared Trump to Hitler, accused him of colluding with Russia and Putin, and has claimed that he poses a “danger to our country and the world.”
Now, after Trump has won the election, former president Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton released the following joint statement:
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz ran a positive, forward-looking campaign to be proud of. The American people have voted, and Donald Trump and JD Vance will be the next President and Vice President of the United States. We wish them well and hope they will govern for all of us.
We must remember that America is bigger than the results of any one election, and what we as citizens do now will make the difference betwen a nation that moves forward or one that falls back. We need to solve our problems and seize our opportunities together. The future of our country depends on it.

The Clintons have turned off the comments on their post on X, so no one can respond directly.
One X user, Wendy Maldonado, wrote, “You are definitely out of touch with reality! @VP and @POTUS are the most divisive dishonest politicians ever in America history and you and your wife are not without fault! The VP’s campaign was not positive or popular it was full of rage, fear and propaganda. You all are responsible for all of those that believed your lies and the history books will not be kind! I am just glad that Obama, Biden, Harris, The Cheneys and you and your wife’s careers are over! You almost sold out America to prevent the Epstein and Diddy lists from coming out!.”
