From the New York Post: President Biden branded supporters of Donald Trump “garbage” on Tuesday while condemning comments made by a comedian at the former president’s Madison Square Garden rally.

The president made the shocking insult as he railed against “Kill Tony” podcast host Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke during Trump’s Sunday night’s rally about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage.”

“Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community,” Biden said during a campaign call at the White House Tuesday first reported by NBC. “Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage.”

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

Biden reportedly made the comments from inside the White House, at the same time Kamala Harris was delivering an outdoor speech near the White House, as she made her pitch to Americans on why she believes she deserves to win the Oval Office.

But Harris’ speech has been completely overshadowed by Biden calling all Trump’s supporters “garbage.”

“The guy w/the son who smokes crack and videos himself with young vulnerable girls is calling you and me garbage. It’s actually funny,” quipped DMLNewsApp and TeamDML.com founder Dennis Michael Lynch.

Trump responded to Biden’s insulting comments. In a post on X he wrote:

“While I am running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate. She has spent all week comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history. Now, on top of everything, Joe Biden calls our supporters “garbage.” You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American People. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have shown they are both unfit to be President of the United States.

“I am proud to lead the biggest, broadest, and most important political coalition in American history. We are welcoming historic numbers of Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, and citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed. It is my desire to be the President of all the people.”

The Trump campaign released the following statement:

“President Trump is backed by Latinos, Black voters, union workers, angel moms, law enforcement officers, border patrol agents, and Americans of all faiths — and Harris, Walz, and Biden have labeled these great Americans as fascists, Nazis, and now, garbage. There’s no way to spin it: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris don’t just hate President Trump, they despise the tens of millions of Americans who support him. Kamala does not deserve four more years. President Trump will be a president for ALL Americans.” – Karoline Leavitt, Trump Campaign National Press Secretary

Donald Trump Jr. wrote, “Holy shit. The media spent all week crying about a joke from a comedian. Meanwhile, Tim Walz called Trump supporters Nazis. Kamala Harris refused to condemn it. And now Kamala’s biggest Democrat ally, Joe Biden, is calling all Trump supporters “garbage.” Absolutely disgusting!!!”

Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, wrote, “This is disgusting. Kamala Harris and her boss Joe Biden are attacking half of the country. There’s no excuse for this. I hope Americans reject it.”

Social media is ablaze over Biden’s comment.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) wrote, “Kamala Harris was deeply outraged by a comedian’s joke. If she has any decency or integrity, she will condemn her partner Joe Biden’s despicable statement calling half the country garbage.”

The Trump War Room wrote:

Hillary calls you deplorables.
Kamala calls you Nazis.
Biden calls you garbage.
President Trump calls you patriots.

The Trump War Room then blasted out a video with all four appalling insults launched at Trump and his supporters.

“Just amazing that Biden managed to completely step on Kamala’s speech in the worst way possible,” wrote columnist Joe Concha.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) said in a CNN interview, “The statement from Joe Biden is the one that he truly believes. He does not think people who disagree with him or his party, who support President Trump, are Americans. He thinks they are garbage.”

Donalds recalled that four years ago, it was Joe Biden who famously said, “If you don’t vote me me, you ain’t Black.”
