From NY PostWalmart could become the target of a MAGA-led boycott after an heiress to the retail fortune funded a full-page ad in the New York Times promoting a nationwide protest movement against President Trump.

The ad, run by the “No Kings” movement, calls on Americans to “mobilize” on Saturday — Flag Day and Trump’s birthday — in order to “reject authoritarianism.”

Trump is planning to hold a massive military parade in Washington, DC on that day.

The heiress, Christy Walton, is the widow of John T. Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton.

The ad insinuates that America’s civil rights and democratic values are under attack, but stops short of naming Trump directly.

The ad reads, in part, “The honor, dignity, and integrity of our country are not for sale.” It ran in the Sunday edition of the Times,

“Great, a left-wing billionaire feels like burning some of her inheritance for a PR stunt,” White House spokesman Kush Desai said in comments to The Post. “It’s not going to change the fact that over 77 million Americans voted for mass deportations, border security, and America First trade policies – a mandate that the Trump administration is committed to using every lever of executive power to deliver on.”

The “No Kings” movement plans to launch thousands of protests nationwide, but hey don’t plan to protest in D.C.
