State Assemblyman Matt Slater (R-Yorktown) called out the lefty congresswoman and even shared a yearbook photo of Ocasio-Cortez showing her as a high school freshman in suburban Yorktown in northern Westchester County — a 40-minute drive from the Bronx.
The takedown came after Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who represents part of the Bronx and Queens, started trading social media jabs with Trump because she called for his impeachment for approving Iran airstrikes without congressional approval.
After Trump said Ocasio-Cortez was “one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress,” she slapped back.
“Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully,” Ocasio-Cortez bragged, referring to Trump’s roots in Queens.

Ocasio-Cortez was soon called out by Slater who went to the same high school as Ocasio-Cortez. Slater, a senior when Ocasio-Cortez was a freshman, has a yearbook photo of the liberal Democrat — and she wasn’t schooling in the Bronx.
“If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already,” Slater tweeted.
Slater, later told The Post that the “AOC-Bronx mythology is laughable” to anyone who lives in the Westchester community.
“The truth is AOC is Sandy Cortez who went to Yorktown High School and lived at the corner of Friends Road and Longvue Street,” he said.
