In a new documentary, Martha Stewart critiques former FBI Director James Comey while reflecting on her 2004 obstruction of justice trial and five-month prison sentence. The film also highlights her groundbreaking achievement as the first self-made female billionaire in 1999.

“It was so horrifying to me that I had to go through that to be a trophy for these idiots in the U.S. Attorney’s office,” she says in the Netflix documentary called “Martha,” which was released on Oct. 30 according to Fox News Digital.

Comey, known for leading the 2016 Russia investigation into Donald Trump, prosecuted Martha Stewart in 2003 for obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI during an insider trading probe involving her friend’s company, ImClone.

“I was a trophy — a prominent woman, the first billionaire woman in America,” Stewart says of the case in “Martha.”

In 2003, Comey claimed that Martha Stewart’s charges were about lying to the FBI, SEC, and investors, emphasizing that her prosecution was based on her actions, not her identity.
