BACKLASH: Tucker Carlson named ‘Antisemite of the Year’ by Jewish group, blasted over shocking AmFest speech

Once considered one of the prominent voices in conservative media, Tucker Carlson has gone to the dark side, slamming Jews and Christians and defending Islam, and his controversial comments have put him in hot water with many conservative Americans.

From the New York Post: Podcaster Tucker Carlson was named “Antisemite of the Year” by a prominent Jewish civil rights group for offering platforms to Jew haters and bashers on his show.

Carlson’s dubious distinction from StopAntisemitism comes as fallout continues from a friendly October interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes, who has pushed conspiracy theories about “Jewish control” of US politics, media and finance; denied the Holocaust; and called for what he described as a “holy war” against Jews.

“By an overwhelming vote margin, Tucker Carlson has been named StopAntisemitism’s 2025 Antisemite of the Year,” StopAntisemitism founder and executive director Liora Rez told The Post.

“Carlson’s divisive, hateful, and dangerous rhetoric and his repeated glowing interviews with bigots and Hitler apologists have made him the most reviled Jew-hater over the last 12 months,” Rez added.

StopAntisemitism posted a video highlighting Carlson’s recent controversial remarks and interviews, and captioned it, “2025 Antisemite of the Year – Tucker Carlson.”

Despite his escalating attacks on Christians and Jews, along with cozying up to Muslims, for some reason, Carlson was given a speaking slot at Turning Point USA’s AmFest conference this weekend in Phoenix.

Carlson’s speech has created an even greater uproar, as he slammed people for “attacking Muslims.”  Conservative social media users are blasting him.

X user EndWokeness wrote, “Days after another Jihad attack, Tucker tells us to worry about… Islamophobia.”

“These were poorly chosen words by Tucker Carlson,” added Paul Szypula.

Many X users are pointing to a post by Charlie Kirk on June 1, in which he wrote, “Islam is not compatible with western civilization.”

Christian pastor Jordan Wells sounded off on Carlson’s AmFest speech. He wrote:

BOMBSHELL at AmFest: Dead silence from the TPUSA crowd as Tucker Carlson spends his entire speech shilling for Islam

– Calls Muslims “mostly good”
– Says it’s “evil” to be anti-Islam
– Compares being Muslim to being black (as if it’s not a chosen ideology)

Zero cheers. Crickets. You could hear a pin drop.

Tucker Qatarlson is officially gone. The man who once exposed the establishment is now a paid mouthpiece for Islamic apologists and Qatar’s agenda. Daily anti-Israel rants, soft on jihadist-sympathizing regimes… but suddenly Islam gets the kid-glove treatment?

Pastor Greg Locke wrote, “So @TuckerCarlson just went full blown “Embrace Islam” during his speech at AmFest. It’s time for @TPUSA to LET HIM GO. He is going to divide, destroy and dilute the Conservative movement.”

“What happened to Tucker Carlson?” many X users are asking.

“He is devolving into insanity right before our eyes,” wrote Michael Freund.

Journalist Laura Loomer declared, “I will not support any candidate in 2026 or 2028 who brings Tucker Qatarlson on the campaign trail. If you aren’t willing to publicly call Islam a death cult, I can’t vote for you. I will not vote for you if you align with Tucker. Sometimes you need to draw a line in the sand. I am drawing a line. I will not support anyone or any campaign that embraces Islam in 2026 and 2028. Neither will the biggest GOP donors.”

In another post, Loomer added:

Now that @TPUSA has endorsed @JDVance for President, I don’t see how they can logically invite @TuckerCarlson back to any of their future events. Charlie was anti-Islam. Tucker cannot be allowed to use TPUSA to mainstream Islam in the GOP!

Tucker is trying to attach himself to JD Vance. My advice to JD is to not allow Tucker Qatarlson to sabotage his 2028 Presidential campaign! Tucker used his speech last night to try to attach himself to JD as I predicted, he would try to do in an effort to continue sabotaging our chances of winning 2028.

We cannot allow Tucker to hand 2028 to @GavinNewsom. It’s time for the GOP to breakup with Tucker. We cannot allow for Tucker Carlson to try to mainstream Islam in the GOP. He is the biggest liability to JD winning in 2028! Dump Tucker! Ban Islam!

X user MK Reagan reacted, “I will never donate to TPUSA again until I’m assured they will never feature Tucker Carlson again.”

Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee, wrote, “Charlie was deeply concerned about the very real and serious threat Islam poses to Western civilization. Tucker, on the other hand, is deeply concerned about Israel and Christian Zionists. Said he hates Christian Zionists “more than anyone.” Charlie was a Christian Zionist.”
