BACKLASH: Gov. Newsom hit with widespread mockery over podcast announcement

California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is being torched on social media, after he announced Wednesday that he is launching a new podcast.

Newsom touted that he’s going to talk about “what’s really going on inside of DOGE.” And he claims he’s going to get to the bottom of the MAGA movement.

From Politico: “We already know what our disagreements are with the MAGA movement. I want to understand what the motivations are, the legitimacy of those motivations, and just really understand where people are coming from,” Newsom said. “They are influential — they are. They explain more things in more ways on more days about what’s going on and if we’re not trying to understand their motivations, we will be victims of their motivations.”

Newsom posted a video of himself gleefully announcing the new podcast and wrote, “I’m launching a NEW PODCAST. We need to change the conversation. I’m talking directly with people I disagree with, people I look up to, and you — the listeners.”

Newsom is getting pounded on social media, and many conservatives are mockingly giving him suggestions on what he really should be talking about, as they hit him over his liberal policies and lack of leadership.

Or how about why you threw a maskless party for yourself at the French Laundry while simultaneously having people under lockdown and causing a ton of businesses to shut down due to your insane Covid rules – all while fining and arresting people for breaking those rules?

Or what about you having an affair with your secretary when you were the mayor of San Francisco?

What about your failure to provide proper water storage for Californians instead of fining them and shutting off their water as a result of your incompetence?

How about your failure to take proper precautions to prevent wildfires while misleading the public about your wildfire prevention efforts?

Will you be discussing any of that? I can go on if you want.
